The Wheel Of Time Series by Robert Jordan

The wheel of time series is by far my favorite series of novels. They are really long but worth the read. I am currently on Book 6, The Lord of Chaos. And i was wondering what other people thought about this series. And for those wanting to give this series a chance, the first book is The Eye of The World, I would go in detail about what the story is about but i wouldnt want to ruin the story for anyone. If i get some good responses i will go in detail as much as im asked to. If i can. Oh and this is my first discussion by the way. Im new here at Mylot.

And what a great topic to start with. LOL.
That's one of my favorite series. I have all the books and can't even count how many times I've reread them. I actually cried the day the lady in my local bookstore told me that Robert Jordan had passed away.

Robert Jordan was one of the only authos that i reallywanted to meet in prson, and i was going to because he lived in the same state as me. I hatd that he had to pass away so soon. He still has one more book thats coming out, (i dont know when, if its not already out.) his friend is finishing it for him. I need to catch up so i can read it so im reading in the series almost every day. And thanks for the response, I like mylot so far

Are you done with all the books?
I am still waiting for book 13 to be out in our bookstores here.
I am excited to find out what would be the result of Mat's (etc.) quest for moiraine.
I heard that the new author is also good. I hope they are right!
