"Man-Made" Diamonds - Gross or Cool?

I was watching a show on TV called "Manswers". They said that there is a company that can make diamonds out of human remains. I thought it sounded so super cool that I researched it. It's True!
The company is call Life Gem and they can take the ashes of your loved one or even a pet and turn it into a diamond. The diamonds are actually better quality and worth more than mined diamonds.
I think it's the coolest thing I've ever heard of! What a great momento to leave your children. My friends, however, think it's gross. So, I'm coming to my MyLotters...What do you think? Gross or Cool?

I think the concept of this sounds pretty cool at first until you really think about it. I'm all for having keepsakes of your loved ones, but having their remains actually put into a diamond is a little beyond me.
The last thing I want after I die is to be burned and then consolidated into a little rock and toted around for my family to show off. I want them to remember me for the memories that we shared together and I want them to keep things that are special to them because the elicit those memories. I want them to remember me for the right reasons and to carry me in their heart. If I've lived right, they won't need to put me in a diamond for closure.
