HP is the leading brand for music and other kind of features. You can get a laptop below $800 price in HP range laptops. Its better to take HP series laptops. for more details better to speak with HP special outlet rather than general store for PC and Laptops. Dealers only promote the models they have, but HP direct outlets provide laptops based on your requirements.

yup HP is great, i just bought HP Presario CQ40 with Core2Duo T750, HDD 160GB, 4GB DDR2 memory, Integrated WIFI, LAN, 14'1" LCD, Built in Altec lansing Speaker with Surround sound. its running smoothly on Vista and Windows 7, i love it.. i have trying Acer New Slim model Aspire 3810T 13.3" its quiet light to carry because its not attach any optical drive and we must use an external USB Optical drive but as i say, i was too lazy to bring lots of accessories so i choose HP thanks everyone for your comment and support

i can't say anything for the speaker quality but just buy a laptop that has specs you like and then buy a pair of small portable usb powered speakers that you can through in your laptop bag like i saw one that was like 4.93 us with free shipping that takes power and plugs directly into the headphones spot it says for ipod but it should work for a laptop.

Try ACER, it is much cheaper than DELL, Toshiba or SONY.

Try looking for Compaq products. They're fairly cheap Try looking for products with AMD processor because they're cheap enough to combine with good graphic cards either ATI or Nvidia
