My boss praised me yesterday, and he intended to give me a higher position and do more work, but he didn't mention about the salary at all!It means I should do more work without a rising salary.
I think it's reasonable to give me a rising salary. But I have no idea how to ask the boss for it.who can help me?
Thanks a lot.

Good start but please be patience, I believe now you should try you best to finish your work even better than before, this is the base for asking salary promoting in the future. maybe this talk between you and your boss yesterday is test from your boss, and your boss will make futher decide according to your action later. if you now to mention that you want to raise your salary, maybe this can make your boss disappointed and give him a bad feeling that: eager for quick success and instant profit...Good luck.

Hi, Nice to hear about your progress and appritiation from your boss. It feels really good when your boss appritiates your work. As fas as my thinking is whenever they promote you to some position your salary also gets automatically increased and you can always inform your boss about your expetations so that he can take that up with the management. Always keep your records of the tasks you have done, projects you have worked on and contribution you have made to the team or company. So that you have all your supporting stuff for the increment and management also has the clear view of your performances. All the best.

I feel glad for you .Now it’s a good time to ask salary increasing. If you really want to talk with your boss, I suppose you should do from these two sides.
1. tell your boss your work loads. How much you work hard and how much other employees do. Let the boss know you are best. You also can compare your salary with other people’s salary. Let the boss realise you are not well paid. You worth more.
2. tell the boss your cost of living here. Let the boss have sympathy with you. So it’s easy to get support from your boss.
Good luck.
