hi everyone. i think most of us have a nickname. most the nickname are given by our best friend. i do have a nickname, and it accompanies me for a long long time, at least 10 years. when i was in high school, my best friend gave it to me, at first i did not like it, but everyone who knows me said that it suits me, i accepted for a long time. so do you like your nickname?

My friend usually called me with William as it is my first name... But one day I figured out my name in japanese. My full name is William Gosal. But I translated in Katakana and it became: "Wiriamudesu Gosaru". Because I don't like "gosaru", I changed it into gozaru... It was my first nickname that I made for myself. And it's very rare name, I guess. But still I don't use it in my daily lives. I just use it for my username.... It's cool, don't you think so?

hi, william, nice to meet you here. you really have a cool and rare name. your name seem to be a little complicated, you gave yourself a name, you are really cool and clever. i never thought about to give me a name, i think you like your name and proud that it is given by yourself.hhaha...by the way, i like the name.

Good day buping,
Well for me I really love my nickname, it was my nick name since I was a child. It was given to me by my nephew. MY real name is Dennis and the my nick name is Dode, first thing you will say that it not related to my name, but the history behind is really cool. My nephew was a baby when he started calling me with that nick, since he was still a baby, it is hard for him to pronounce words. He should called me Tito De (Tito is term for uncle in the Philippines), but he shorten the Tito to To, and he pronounce it Do and add it up to De, so there my nickname was been started.

hi brienn, nice to meet you here. your nickname really has a lovely story. so your nickname by a kid, woow, cool. we know that when kids learn to pronounciate, it's really hard for them to pronounciate right completely, but in their own lovely way. although i could not understand your nickname completely, i feel that it is a lovely name and you love it.

hi, you are completely right, that we do not mind the nickname we have, but about who is calling you. if even you got a strange name or you do not like it, as it is called by your best friend or your falimy members, or someone you really mind, so that's ok, we can accept it, at least i can accept.

Not really. The main reason my friends named me a certain nickname is to make fun of me. It happens not only to me but also to others. Actually we use nicknames to make fun of each other.

hi, woow, what a pity that your friend give a nickname just to make fun of each other, so i can understand that you do not like your nickname. but on the other hand, your friend would not give you nickname if you are not close friends, even they gave you a name just for fun. so just enjoy your name, it is also the friendship.

I don't have a nickname when I was in High School they called me by my surname I hate being called by my surname. They make it short it doesn't sound bad but I don't like to be called like that. When I was in college they called me by my name. I prefer to be called by my name rather than any funny names or insulting name.

hi, i agree with you. if you do not have very close frienship whith someone, but he gave you a nickname just for funny or insulting, i would not like it either. i think we give someone a nickname or be given a nickname, it should be on the basis of respect. so the nickname would be more acceptable.

what is your nickname by the way my friend?
i do have some what different nickname when i was younger. my parents gave it to me. but when i was older, i begin to gave myself another name. i am the one who find it nice so when i always use it. my friends then adapted to it and as well as my parents, so its really ncie to be somewhat different as well. so that you may know who they are calling to and you may know they really are referring to you.

hi, i have a nickname by my friends, they gave me the name by my family name. i like it and it is easy for others to identify who they are calling, it's me. but you are so funny to give yourself a nickname,hhaha. this is the first time i heard that someone gave himself a name. i think you would like it very much, so do your friends.
