Well well, i'm not in either catergory and so can i respond?? haha =D I think i will always be the last to wake up, for i'm a sleeper.. hehe ^_^ I can sleep for the whole day if i want to, and thus i wont be waking up early in the morning for nothing.. hehe ^_^ However, like my past, with my ex gfs, if i know they need to be up early for work or certain things the next day, i will make sure i wake up earlier than them, to give them a wake up call, making sure they are really up, before i go back to sleep again.. haha =D

hello, yeah it is an interesting post. i (female) always wakes up earlier, and I would make breakfast, or do some tidy stuff. At this time, he still sleeping, he sleep especially late on weekends Sometimes when I don't feel good, and I would thnk why should I be the one who make the breakfast? and he has the right to sleep on the bed, without do nothing else? then I begin to feel angry, and refuse to make breakfast! so sometimes he would wake up earlier and prepare breakfast. I think this is more fair, though I prepare more breakfast then he does/.

I probably wake up first most mornings but, if I am on the late shift at work I usually go back to sleep for an hour or so. I never wake him up unless he has an early appointment but I usually wake up when he ggoes downstairs.. or switches the TV on... or sneezes loudly. I just mutter and sigh to myself - its not worth fighting over.

hello friend! in my case, most of the time its my husband who wakes up first! hehe coz he always needs to be early...huh! but there are also time that i wake up first... specially Mondays, Thursdays & Sundays...coz during those days i need to really prepare for him... we never fight about waking up each other in the morning coz when he saw me tightly sleep, he will not wake me up...he just let me sleep...and i am also like that...hehe i just wake him up when i know that he have important works to attend to...

I wake up first in my couple and my boyfriend is always late in the morning and he does not like when someone wakes him up early too. He can fights with me if I wake him up in the morning though. Once he told me that I am not respecting his sleep and to do not wake him early, so I have stopped doing that and now even if he gets late to work I do not seem to bother because he should be responsible enough to sleep a bit early at night to wake up early in the morning too.

Hey acie! Well I am not married! But I consider myself a wife! My BF and I have been living together for a long time, he is the primary bread winner, and I am a stay at home mother! But who wakes up first in the morning?!?! I wish it wasn't me...lol.. I so badly want to stay sleeping sometimes! But than I hear my daughter and of course, even if it is the weekend my BF will not get up! So.. I get up first everyday! All the time! Happy sleeping!

In our home my husband wakes up first even on the weekends. He goes to work early about 5 am and I stay up later as he goes to bed around 9 pm. I stay up later and wait for our 2 year olds bedtime and then I and my 17 year old clean up. Our 14 year old is in bed by this time too. I normally bound up out of bed ready to go in the morning. Neither of us wakes up really late. As he does go to work and I get up a little before our 2 year old to make breakfast. Neither of us really wakes up the other, but when we have to no we dont fight about it. On the weekends he lets me sleep in and he sleeps in some but not real late.

I am always the first one to wake up and my husband is the late sleeper. We do not fight is one of us wakes the other up, I feel that it is too childish of us to be fighting over something like that. Besides, I always try to be sweet whenever I have to wake him up so that he will not feel grumpy

Nine times out of ten, my husband wakes up first. He is the type who can hear the alarm and jump up to start his day, I am the type who always wants that ten extra minutes. I am a lot more likely to over sleep or sleep in later than he is, but there are times when he will sleep in too. Yes, he does generally wake me up each morning, but there are times when he doesn't (those are normally the times when I am running late). I don't think that we have ever actually had an arguement about him waking me up, but I do know that I have been grouchy a few times, especially when I am cold and he takes the covers from me, or when he puts his cold hand on my back!

In our family, I am always the one who would wake up first than my partner. I used to it because ever since I never wake up too late cause I would have to do my jogging time...sometimes my partner got mad every time I would wake up her early...nice topic..happy mylotting...

Hi there, well my hubby is working abroad so i was not able to sleep with him everyday so sad, anyway when he was here for vacation he often wake up first. Sometimes we have a little argument when i am still sleeping. Thats my problem when i sleep i want to sleep for a long time i can sleep 24 hours a day hehe without eating if possible, but its not. Anyway, i am glad that my hubby was supportive to me even we do have a little arguments he was always there for me, keep on mylotting

I always wake up first. I did not fight, if my husband woke up late. every day my husband would get up late, because he always slept all night. I also do not have to wake my husband, if he does not wake up. I really embarrassed if someone came and asked my husband. but I always make excuses to family or friends who come and ask my husband who was still asleep.

Hi acie_21 I wake up first..Always I have to wake up and make tea for my hubby and then only He wakes up.So,I think that if I would not wake up first,then we both would be sleeping for the whole day.Actually,my hubby comes back to home late night so he sleeps late too.And that is the reason why he can't wake up soon at the morning.Often we fight with each other for the same reason.Because, we both want to have a complete dreamy, comfortable and relaxed sleep especially,on weekends. being a wife and a mother of two, i was the one who woke up early because I have to cook for my family. That's one of the tasks a mother must do for her family. Its very fufilling in my part when they love to eat the foods that i cooked.

If I have a good night (I'm an insomniac but take meds) then he generally wakes up about a 1/2 hour or so before me....if I have a bad night..I'm up first...As for him waking me up or visa versa...well we dont share a bed so that doenst happen...in fact we dont even share a bedroom LOL

I'm always the first one up, I get the kids up and start getting them ready for school, then I get my boyfriend up. I have more to do, and I like the quiet time before everone else wakes up. Lucky for me he is easy to wake up, I just give him a kiss and tell him it's time to get up and he does...if he were waking me up I would definitely be grouchy and probably snap at him to leave me alone!

This is an intresting question. We never had fights for waking up each other. I get up early because I have to leave to office early. His work starts late and so he will be the person getting up late. I always keep an alarm to get up early and he doesn't care if it disturbs his sleep. He is not a good sleeper anyway. I try to switch off the alarm asap before he gets up. We both sleep in during weekends.

I wonder why you have this topic to us. without doubt it's always my husband who wakes up earlier, no matter on weekday or on weekends. he needs to go out to work early, so he has the habit to get up by 7am. I don't need to go out for work, so I always can sleep as late as I want. in general I get up by 7:30am, then I do some exercise for half hour, then turn on my laptop to check emails or surf on internet. by the way I never be bothered in the morning. so I don't know what i will do if somebody woke me up in the early morning.

i wake up first. coz i need to fix myself to look good when he wakes up. go shower, brush my teeth, prepare for breakfast, clean the room and all. so that when he wakes up, everything is neat and clean. and if he saw me looks good then im sure he will love me more everyday.

Oh, my husband always wakes up first lol. Maybe it's because I used to live in a different time zone with him. No, I don't get mad if he wakes me up, in fact I'd be grateful because I wouldn't have to turn the morning alarm lol. If he does it on the weekend, I might be a little upset, but I'd just simply go back to sleep lol
