If anything, the responses you gave to one another made me laugh. Discussions like these make me see the fun side of MyLot. Seriously though, I have no clues for finding the way to your lunch but you might just have reminded me that this is a site which could buy me my lunch. I signed up 2 weeks ago and I have not even submitted any articles (they sent me an email to remind me of this). Thank you.

As the saying goes,"There is no such thing as a free lunch".

I have a problem with the idea of writing towards a particular site. Especially if you no actual interest in the material that you are writing. And I see it a lot.
There is also the little fact that the Triond site that pays the most today may not be the one that pays the most tommorrow. I have seen sites rise and fall. One needs to be able to switch gears.
You should also remember that everyone else is also looking for the best paying site and articles to write. Markets tend to be flooded out occasionally because of this.
So instead of trying to figure out what one pays the best, I would suggest starting out in a couple of areas you know a lot about (or want to) and write in those areas. Build up a set of articles in those areas, then pick a couple of other subjects and build up another set of articles.
Your goal is to have a variety of stuff, so that market whims (which are driven by what hot today) do not wipe out your investment when people get bored and move on to the next craze or concern. And have no doubt, writing is an investment.
