NBA Live or NBA 2K

I have always preferred NBA 2K when choosing a basketball game. The graphics and gameplay seem to be much better than the Live series. What is your preference and why? Which basketball series do you think you will get this year? As a Dwight Howard fan I might have to bite the bullet and get NBA Live, just because he the cover player.

NBA 2k for me is much better than NBA live because i am already familiar with the controllers of it and also the movement of the characters.Speaking of NBA 2k i am very excited to play oin the latest issue of it NBA 2k10.

I am in favor of 2K. NBA 2K is more true to life than NBA LIVE. Unluckily, my notebook can not support to run 2K. The game demands relatively high performance hardwares.

How is the game playing on a notebook vs a game console? Have you tried both?

NBA live is not that great, if you like arcade thats the game for you. NBA 2K9 is going to be the best and 2k is gonna win every year if you like real basketball the 2k9 is the best...who cares about live it s*cks every year, has the same crossovers and i was just playing the demo I played with lakers and KOBE CAN DUNK FROM ANYWHERE and I was playing superstar...NBA 2K!! HAHA!

Yeah. Its too bad they have put together a product that really is sub-par. It pains me even more that Dwight is the cover boy for Live and Kobe is the cover boy for 2K. Want to support Dwight but will probably end up going with Kobe haha

i agree 2K is a much better basketball game and i still think the 2k football and ncaa basketball game was 20x better then EA's
