V - the visitors

I was watching Flashforward and saw the preview for V. I did a little research on wikipedia and I am very excited about the tv show. I think the idea behind this show has a lot of potential. Anyone have any more information about the plot?

The New V series is a remake of the 1983/4(?) Miniseries and following tv series about Aliens who come to Earth to make friendly contact with us...but are they?
I see Morena Baccarin has a Leading Role

I watched the original miniseries,and some of the followup TV series when it originally aired...I've read that production of this remake was briefly halted to give scriptwriters time to beef up the story some..Remake haters in the fandom don't like the idea,as the Alien/Human Visitor theme was quite well explored in the original,so the question would be,where do they go now with the story? Special FX have moved on by generations since the Original but One scene in particular of the Female Alien Leader "Diana" having a bite to eat was quite groundbreaking at the time!

i hate to break it to you guys but there were problems with the show and it might not make it to tv anytime soon. i am not sure what happened i have not looked into it yet but i thought that it was to be no more. i saw something about it on one of the entertainment shows. man i remember the original, i was still a kid then but me and my sister used to watch it on the sly because it was pretty scary. it would be nice to see what they have done with it.
