Obama spends more time on the news talking about how he is (one day) going to impose a change. He is on the news constantly talking about the same thing, healthcare, or should I say the lack there of? When are people going to admit he was a mistake? The amount of time he spends on tv promoting himself makes me wonder who is running the country while he talks about how great he is? Meanwhile, our troops are dying and he doesn't even mention it. Our own blue collar workers are fighting hard at the art of butt kissing just to avoid a layoff from a job that pays pennies compared to what it did a few years ago. Our people are also dying financially and nothing is being done. I am a white american with no health insurance who has done nothing but work since I was 17. I have nothing to my name and have lost everything due to the economy. I have paid our governemt thousands of dollars in taxes. Were is my bailout? People need to say more of how they feel. We need our government to hear us!

We all feel the pain. The economy is in ruins, it's really scary to see how many people are being laid off every day, and you just hope you're not next. But I do think there's something a lot of Americans don't understand about our president. I think one of his biggest points it that we simply can't rely on one man to wave a magic wand and fix everything. As much as we wish that were possible, it's just not. But I think what Obama's strength is, is his strength to inspire people to help themselves. This is a hard thing to do, but I think it's valuable in a time like this. It's like the old saying 'give a man a fish, he eats for a day... teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime'. I think Obama is trying to teach us all to fish. That's why he talks so much. Maybe it will work, maybe it wont, but I hope it does. Peace.
