PCOS is a hormone disorder where the follicles in the ovaries are not completely developed. The follicles fail to ovulate and remain as multiple cysts. This hormone imbalance happens as a result of a lack of ovulation. This may cause obesity, fibrocystic breasts, depression, hair growth, hair loss, cramping, joint swelling, infertility, acne, just to name a few.
PCOS affect as many as 30 percent of women in some way or the other. One should see a gyn for a course of treatment; he/she may refer you to a specialist.
It can be treated nutritionally, but it takes hard work.

i have that too.
I couldnt even have my monthly period without taking pills. I am under medication for pre-diabetes too. The best doctor to help me on this is an ObGyn-Endo.
True. It does take hard work too. Surgery can be done but this doesnt always mean that you wont have it again because it is hormonal. hayyy....
