Kiwi fruit, Green or Gold?

I didn't even know there were gold ones. So I guess I should say I never had a gold one. I like Kiwi's but I don't like the aftertaste or the wierd feeling in my mouth after I eat one. I like them when I am eating them, but not after. I have not had any in quite a while. But I would really be interested in trying a gold one. Sounds like I might like that better.

it does not grow in the place I live,so always we does not taste naturally mature kiwi.I hope someday when I travel to the south of our country,I can taste the fresh fruit.

I've tasted nor even seen a gold kiwi, so I'd go for green. I love green kiwi.

I only saw the gold for the first time a couple years ago. They are great! I would prefer to get those but the green are good to if you get them at the right time. I can't handle it when they are really tart but I like their normal sweet/tart flavor when fully ripe.

Kiwi and pappaya are best fruits.

I have only had the green ones. I would like to try a gold one. I ahve actually never seen one in my area. So will have to take your word for the better taste.

I've never had a gold kiwi. Now if you were to ask me which I prefer, white or green asparagus, I'd say white. But I digress...

Kiwi is one of my favourite fruit and especially the gold one. Whenever I saw it in the fruit stall, I will sure get back a few. For the green one, it is ok with me too, but some brings slightly sour taste. I'm more prefer the gold one, it is always taste better and sweeter. Although it comes a bit expansive then the green one, I will still buy it, cause it is not always available unlike the green one. I was wondering why my son doesn't like kiwi, it taste better than orange, but he always prefer the latter one. Kiwi having the highest Vitamin C among all other fruits. Sometimes I make my salad with gold kiwi in it too. It taste great! Normally when I eat it, I don't remove the skin of the kiwi, I will cut the fruit into half and scoop up the flesh with spoon. In my place, the Kiwi fruits are normally imported from New Zealand. Those kiwi which sell in a box are normally comes with a spoon which can be use as cutter too. I find it very convenient.

HI Stealthy, I like both types of kiwi ,green and gold. Gold kiwi is more expensive than the green one at my place here. It is not easy to get a nice kiwi here and I can tell you,kiwi is one of the expensive fruit at my place. Sometimes, I will serve kiwi into jellies, It taste great. Kiwi can also be served in salad and this is one of my favourite food. Kiwi fruit is rich in vitamin A,C and E.It is known that kiwifruits is useful in improving conditions in asthmatic children and in decreasing the probability in colon cancer.
