do not let eye drops cause harm to your eyes.many patients still have many misconceptions on the usage of eye-drops. in fact the wrong usage may bring in a nunber of trouble.
1 one drop is enough at a time. the storage capacity of the conjunctiva is 7-25 microlitre and one drop of eye drops is about 30 microlitres.
2 close your eyes after dripping.
3 hold on the corners of your eyes after using eye-drops for 3 min
4 do not let different kinds of eye-drops enter your eyes at the same time
5 some syrup is suspention, shake before use.
6 don't use it when you are wearing contact lens

Wow I wasn't aware of that I guess a person can learn something new every day here
I don't use eye drops but I do know some people who do I didn't realize there was a correct way to use I always thought you just tilted your head back and squeeze the bottle .When I have used eyedrops in the past I never shook it before I used it I didn't think it was necessary.
I guess if I ever need eyedrops in the near future I will pay more attention on the correct way of using it

I am always open to learning accurate information regarding health and medicine its very interesting to know that so many of us have no idea that some of the every day things we use and do in our lives are harmful to us in fact this is a vast topic for discussion because it involves a lot more than eyedrops!
I'm sure you have more to share with us regarding certain topics such as this I just responded to a post regarding unhealthy trans fats that are in our foods here in the USA and I was saying that I was glad that congress is starting to get more involved in understanding that these unhealthy trans fats such as hydrogenated oils are causing a lot of deaths do to the disease and other ailments that these bad fats can cause over time.

Do you use eye-drops? I have hearer before that eye-drops may canker eyes. I think this statement may be right, for there are many chemical meterial in eye-drops, perhaps it cantain preservative. So I think we'd better use the eye-drops sparingly.

yes you are right, but my eye often feel dry, and the doctor can't make sure this is a disease,so eye-drops is commended to me .
i will pay more attention to the usage of it.
