Hi subhadra, Antibiotics donĀ“t have any good effect in illness caused by viruses. But they can do wonders in illness from bacterial origin. Many times a flu starts being caused by viruses but then bacteria come along. Doctors should know when to prescribe antibiotics or just help with the symtoms.

Hi,subhadra,it is not advisable to have antibiotics without prescription. They initially give us resistance and use to suppress /cure the diseases. If we use them continuosly our body lost resistance and the antibiotics are not work effectively. In any part of the world this is the same.Have a nice time.

He said it right. We only take that if our condition is really infectious. We will have resistance to antibiotic if it is taken if not needed.Trust your physicians.they know what to do

subhadra123 well antibiotics are excellent for health if you are ill from a bacterial infection as that is only what they are used for. most reputable doctors like my own, do not prescribe antibiotics for viral infections like colds and flu,the only time my doctor gave me an antibiotic for flu was when I had a bacterial infection in my bronchial tubes, a bronchitis caused by bacteris not virus. antibiotics are not for viruses at all. in their place they are indeed healthy.
