Don't you think that they'd be able to predict all of these floods, hurricanes, and other natural disasters? Wouldn't they be able to tell when bad things were going to happen and warn everyone? I feel if people could really see into the future, they'd put it to better use than charging people to tell them that they should break up with their boyfriend/girlfriend and looking at people's hands.

As far as I know, fortune teller can only tell rough view of what your future might be. They can't tell precisely when, what or how our life can change. I don't believe 100% of what they predict. You are right, they often charging people for their service and that sometimes makes me wonder. I once saw people get scammed. But I don't know for sure. Their special talents is quite interesting and mystery.

*rolls eyes* oh dear, how dare these people use their natural talents to make a living in this world. *loads of sarcasm* this isn't the ancient times, people need to make money to survive and that's how some do it. just like anyone else using a talent for (shock, horror) financial gain. just like in any area there are fakes and scammers and that's sad but... no one is being forced to use their services.

I'm a tarot card reader, and I never claim to be able to tell the future like a lot of TV psychics do. I simply read the symbols that are in the cards, and usually I can tell a lot about a person and how they're feeling at the time. Of course, I'm not trying to manipulate or rip anyone off, so it's a different ball game.

Many people have predicted natural disasters but were told they are crazy and nobody listened til it was to late. Look through history and you will find many people predicting a tragic event. Only to be blown of as being off their rocker. They aren't rules for psychics saying Monday is the day you predict the earthquake disaster in Japan. Governments tend to know when something big is going to happen but do nothing to prepare the people. Heck just look at Hurricane Katrina and the New Orleans disaster...It was predicted many years before the dam would break. But no preparations were ever made in case it did happen. That is just one example.

If these people were real they wouldn't be wasting their time telling you that you should break up with your boyfriend/girlfriend because they would have already won the lottery so many times that they'd never have to work again. I just love those creepy looking little places with the large palms painted, either on the side of the building or on a sign posted in the yard. Yep, I'm giving you my twenty bucks!

I think no one can really predict the future.life is full of uncertainties and change is really constant in this world.these fortune tellers just give possibilities of what will happen in the future.no one can really predict what will happen tomorrow or the next week or next year.
