Do you believe that some person can be lucky for you

Many people say that because of this person's luck I also was lucky to achieve something, do you believe its true or you think achieving something is all personnel and someone else's luck plays no importance in the same?

I don't think that somebody can be lucky for you, people just say this and it is surely not true. Why will someone's luck be important for us because we are the one who is going to do hard work for ourselves and achieve something, others will do hard work for themselves and achieve something but not for us.
