Hello friends and dear mylotters,Last night (past midnight) due to heavy rainfalls and slippery road two vehicles collided and make a great sound of "banggggg".My son who told me that he heared a loud bang from the highway and asked me my cam. Thu it is raining hard i followed him and there we saw two vehicles crashed each other. Thanks God no one is severely wounded aside from the young lady who had wounds on her feet and my son helped her out of the car and we stop a taxi to take her to the hospital. Have you ever tried rescuing same incidents my friends?

i can't remember exactly when or where did i helped someone who had engaged in car or any vehicle accidents. but i remember i did it in the past. i think anyone who witnessed incidents like road mishaps will not ignore it and will find or do everything to help the victims. so sorry to hear, from your posts today that you are also affected by the storm. i hope you are still safe, as we can see the news, flood waters are covering the city streets, people asking for help, etc.

Hello neil, Actually i am that affected,my house is keeping us(me and my kids)safe and nothing in any trouble.Only that,i can't go outside home without rampaging the flood(water colored and looks ewkssss). I want to take pictures outside and using boots is useless since water was higher then my boots. Can't use the car or motorbike either. I just want to keep and give mylotters and friends well updated with what is happening here in metro.

hello again jaiho, You're so so active now. well, i prefer to respond more because i haven't done much time responding to my friends discussions. hey, can you show us the picture of the two cars crashed? you know it's better to call the paramedics or call the real people involve, if there are bones broken you don't wanna risk the person getting more bone ache.

I agree with Letran, It's best to let someone trained to deal with that unless the victims life is in immediate danger. Like a fire or some thing where they need to get out of the car

Hello Letran, Yah,this is my first time to stay sitting infront of my laptop and responding/starting discussion.I don't want to thank the weather, but it seems to be like that. Well,no one is hurt my friend, and,i can't post the full figure of the vehicle i hope you can understand about it.I will wait till i get my permission or maybe a press ID to have all the rights posting pictures in here.(this is one ethics i should follow). No one was hurt seriously, and yes,if it really looks bad i wouldn't dare to touch anyone but would surely wait for the medics,i have also known all these from medical trainings i had attended. So,how's raining in there now my friend? Here it is still raining, but not so hard, and waters starts to subside now.

No, I've never tried to. And after finding out that the victim(s) can sue the person that rescued them, at least here in California, I'm less inclined to help them. That may sound a bit harsh, but I'd hate to get sued all because I was willing to help a person that was involved in an accident. I would however be willing to call for help, so long as I have my cell phone one me. Happy mylotting!

I don't understand it either. But then again there are a lot of laws here that I don't make any sense.

Hello friend, What....the victim can sue the rescuer?...uh uh...i wouldn't dare to help then(funny). Ok,ok...i don't understand this law now,and if this happen here in our country,no one will ever lend a hand too. Yah,i would also ask help/call any emergency hotline even if the victims life were hanging(ugh!!!!!)i'm really a bit stunned here my friend. Thanks for your response and have a great day always

Yes, I have. In fact, I have responded to so many car crashed victims considering that I have worked in a rescue unit as a Paramedic-Firefighter for about 13 years. It is really sad to see this things happening. But well, I just do my best to save lives and help those needing assistance. But you can never take out the possibility of feeling sadness for those that you can no longer save.

I get all panicky in a situation like that. My mind goes blank and i foget what to do. I look around for someone else to help. So probably the only thing i would do is call for help. either a police man or an ambulance. But I would step in to help some one like that. At least i dont think i would,

hi jaiho 2009 yes my nurse friend and I ,I was a nurses aide, were driving back to work from my friend's house when we came on this man who was lying on the ground onthe gravel, his oil tanker was turned on its side, he was unconscious and had gravel embedded in his arms. we called an ambulance and waited til they got there then went on to the hospital. When I came on my shift I had the joy of picking out gravel from the still unconscious man's arms before he went to surgery.

I have not, but it seems like something that would be very adrenaline-rushing. I would hate to see a car crash victim.
