Dogs have values to human they are affectionate, loyal friend and could be a loyal guard to the house. Those dogs which are imported breeding are the one whose food is expensive but if you prefer their are native dogs where the food is less cheap than buying the commercial dog food. I have a neighbor who have a lot of dogs and sold it puppies for business and thus, she need to buy commercial dog food as the imported dogs are not get used in eating leftover. Sometimes the dog food is more delicious than the owner whose food is cheap. Your friend must be happy to feed and care for his dog because it is affectionate, warm and friendly more lovable than humans with unconditional love.

Hi, When u bring a dog/puppy home, he or she immediately becomes a member of yr house or I would say `another baby of the house'. U hv to treat them just the way u do with yr child. My dog who is now three years old, likes to behave same way as my son does. If I am playing carrom with my son, the dog will immediately bring his ball in his mouth and put his two front paws on the carrom board. And if my son is eating something, the dog has to have that particular thing to taste. And yes, dog food, calcium tablets, calcium bones, plastic toys all these are more expensive than my son's eatables.

hi injectmore if your friend is not neglecting his family' and children and has the money, why should you get yourself' all in a knot. It is his right to spend his money any way he wishes , friend or no friend. I would love to be able' to afford a dog but it would raise my rent one hundred' dollars and I have not got that kind of money,.but more power to a dog lover who does, good for him.

I guess it really depends on how much money the guy has to know if it's a big deal. If the kid is wearing clothes with holes in it then it's probably a big deal, but if they have enough money to spread it around who cares. Everyone needs a hobby and for some that is taking care of a dog. I have always cared dearly for my dog and thought of her as a step above a stranger, but a step below friends and family.
