Good looking people get job easily- a survey

I think you may have a point, but I also think that people who look good also feel good and their confidence is seen and heard in their personality. They present themselves in a very positive and secure way. Employers are looking for confidence in their employees.

sad but true.. some employers would often choose applicants by the looks and some wouldn't check the credentials of the person as long as they are good looking.. it is quite true in my country. aside from being good looking, you should also be fluent in the English language for you to land a job.

Hi anurag, I agree. I have seen this happening so many times. I can only endorse it. Do I believe it to be wrong. But of course. Who knows, we might be putting ourselves a 100 years behind, if we dont let that researher who is ugly get the job. And ugliness is just some bad physical combination. Who knows what kind of nature resides inside. Having said that, if I were to employ a person, I would again go for a reasonably good looking person, as I would want my clients to interact well with my staff members, and a beautiful person with a smiling face does the trick for me.

yes mostly time it would be possible...but not always..because..if you are good looking..and you have no talent...then how you get job...whose you are not able.. so i think...with good looking....talent is also must...but sometime..that is wrong...in many job...that person get job..who are good looking...

...Hi, hi 1anurag1, This is a definitely a fact of life. Tall people are considered over short people for potential jobs, thin people over fat people. Good looking people are preferred over less good looking people. The minority thing we all know about. So in this world, if you are qualified, you better be the tallest, best looking, thinnest person going in for the interview, or your chances are less than the other qualified people. It has been tested by civil rights groups. I am sure it is on record somewhere, if you need to have stats. It's just a part of the vanity that exists in the world, oh and a younger person would be preferred over an older person. Take it easy.
