My laundry basket!!! It is as high as a mountain right now because of the weather is so unpredictable these days. The next minute it is scorching hot and suddenly it is raining heavily with strong wind! Anyway, where do you normally hang your wet clothes??

Corrycrystal, Tell ME about it. MY laundry basket is never empty too. I have to do my laundry EVERY morning and I'll dry my wet clothes in the porch. My porch is covered so even if it rains, it doesnt pose any problems except the clothes getting drier later. But as soon as I bring in the dried clothes, the laundry basket is full again! And there are only the 3 of us at home, me, my hubs and my two year old son...

Hi, Merryn! It is quite amazing, isn't it? How fast the laundry basket is mounting up. Normally, I would hang my laundry and hubby's at the backyard with direct sunlight. So, when it is suddenly starts to pour, I will have a problem of finding a place to hang them. Since you hang your wet laundry at a covered place, at least you do not have to rush and can collect them at a later time, but me, I have to run as fast as I can as if there is no tomorrow!

this is really funny! I thought you will be talking about food or something but...yeah yeah you are right! Laundry basket as it's rainy season so we easily get wet and needs to wash but it's really difficult to dry. Since i live alone, i put my thick clothes like jackets and pants to the laundry shop but i wash those t-shirts and undergarments and hang them on my living room as it is not used since i rarely have visitors. It doesn't look good but it's better than my clothes getting molds on it.

I try not to send my clothes and hubby's to the laundry shop because we can save a lot, but worse come to worse, like you I might send those thick clothes, towels and bed sheets. Well, if you have no place to hang the wet laundry, a living room is the perfect choice rather than to soak them back in the bucket.

hi corry^^;; i read your comments below and it's really funny when we patiently put in and out the laundry in a day just to dry it. The weather too in my place is really crazy....there are even times that it's both raining and sunny. When the rain starts, i can hear the mothers in my neighborhood shouting alarming me to put inside my laundry hahaha! supermoms and yeah, i also don't like to put my laundry on the shop since i don't know if its really washed well but i don't have any choice rather than it will be rotten...and yes, you can choose only the one's that are thick

Hahaa... yeah, it is more or less the same here. The neighbor, an elderly woman, used to alarm us if it's raining. But lately I seldom hear her voice shouting, maybe she's fed up with the unpredictable rain.

I don't hang my laundry out to dry, but it's pretty much the same way here. It's never ending! And here I have a washer and dryer. I could do loads and loads of laundry everyday and it still wouldn't be done! But that's laundry for you. As the old saying goes, "a woman's work is never done". Happy mylotting!

Haha, yeah, it is never ending chores. I only use the spinner, so, the clothes are not too wet, but I still need to hang them for a couple hours or more. I just hope I can clear some of them tomorrow. Anyway, it's good to see you here. Thanks!

Since we have a place to dry clothes in shade as well as in sun, things would be easier. If it's rainy season or if there is an atmosphere of rain, then we won't put the clothes outside. After all there are many clothes which requires shade drying as their color will fade if you dry it in sun. Happy Lotting

Yes, that is much easier as you do not have to keep on looking at the clouds every minute! We do have a place outside the house with shades, but if it is raining hard and too windy, the clothes will get dirty easily. So, I prefer to hang them in the next room, which is becoming like a multi purpose room, but there is not too much space.
