I recently read an article on npr.org that was talking about black women with advanced degrees. It seems that recent research suggests that black women with advanced degrees are less likely to be married by the age of 45. One quote that jumped out at me was "Black men are more likely to marry outside of their race, and black women are more likely to marry outside of their education." As a woman about to enter my thirties and possessing a Masters degree, I'm curious as to the truth of this. I've struggled to find people to date that I felt were on my level of education and experience. Is there a pool of men to tap into, or should I start learning needlepoint. What are the thoughts out there in mylot world?
