Who is your all time favorite director?

Mine is Stanley Kubrick. I have no respect for the academy awards because he was never given one.

my fav director is christopher nolan the first movie i saw of his was batman begins and i was shocked to see how he had turned the dyin batman franchise into the most well made batman movie of all time(till dark knight came).the direction,the cinematography and also the fact tht he made gotham city more realistic. other movies with good direction are the prestige and memento.some really good movies which will keep u at the edge memento had the entire movie playin backwards,never seen anythin like it b4 n last yr he gave the dark knight his finest master piece till today

I adore him. When I first heard that the guy who directed Memento was going to redo Batman, I was beside myself with anticipation. Have you seen Following? It's very low budget because it's his first film. But it is really good.

Tarantino , he is pretty much invented his own category of movies and all are awesome to watch and doesnt win the big awards either
