I don't really like to eat when I'm sick. I usually drink a lot of orange juice it's acceptable on my taste buds. Sometimes I eat little bit of everything that I like. Such as chocolates, chips and ice cream.
How about you, do you like to eat when you're sick? What do you like to eat?

I admit I eat a lot but not when I'm sick. Haha. I don't like to eat when I'm sick because the food doesn't usually taste right and I have a hard time in chewing too. When I'm very sick, my cousin would sometimes make soup or something but I would lose my appetite so I won't really appreciate eating it. And even the medicines make me lose appetite so I tend not to eat anything.

Oh, that's a quit, you eat a lot when your okay and almost don't eat all when your sick. Yeah, we don't really like to eat when we're sick. You know I remember when I was kid every time I got sick and don't want to eat anything, my mom would buy all my favorite food, but to no avail, then she would she would do anything just to make me eat. That's too mean of me. LOL
Anyway thank you for sharing with us and have a great day!

Haha. It's like we really want to eat those but just can't. I can't push myself to eat anyway even there are delicious foods. Too bad it puts to waste. Take care! :)

You know, it sounds cliched, but the tried and true chicken soup really is incredibly soothing. It provides lots of protein without being rough on your throat or stomach, and it's delicious! Orange juice is a brilliant choice because it's loaded with Vitamin C, but it can be rough on a sore throat.

Yeah, I've that most of the time, with my friends. They always take chicken soup when they got sick, but I don't really like the taste. And I'm not used on it anyway. If I'm living with mom, definitely she would cook a lot of healthy foods and won't allow me not to eat. But living on your own can be a real different.
Anyway thank you for sharing with us laurie and have a great day!

Yeah, you're right it's better to consult a doctor if we got sick. But with a fever as long as it doesn't last long, one or two days, then I think it's okay to take a rest and stay home. The cause might be overwork and stress. I don't really like to eat rice when I got sick. I'm more into juices.
Anyway thank you for sharing with us sunilcutein and have a great day!

Hi Careguarden,
You are sick and still eat chocolate, chips and ice cream?
As for me, I won't touch all those food when I am sick. I prefer to eat something light like porridge or something in soup.No fried food and heavy meal for me when I am sick.
I also will drink plenty of water, get enough rest to get myself well as soon as possible.
Avoid junk food while you are sick as they are not help to get your body feel better.
Takecare.

Yeah, junk foods is not good. Well it's really different when you're living with your family and you're all by your self. You can do everything you think is good and right.

When I'm sick, I accept fruit tasting sweet and a little sour. For staple food, I usually have rice porridge and crushed dried pork - a kind of yummy food, and it's quite fit for sicks.
Anyway, any food, which is not oily and too salty (but should be taste a little salty if it's sht staple and dishes).

I like orange juice a lot when I am sick too. If I have a sore throat I like to eat ice cream it makes my throat feel better. If it is a cold or something, I like comfort food like chili or soup, or sometimes all I want is just some toast and lots of orange juice or tea. Depends on how sick I am and what is wrong with me.

That will depend on how sick I am. If I have very bad throat infection, eating and drinking are so painful.
I do not have appetite and just need to drink some hot peppermint tea to sooth the throat. Other than that, I just sleep.
I certainly cannot eat chocolate and ice cream anymore. The moment I start to eat, and can eat non-stop, I know that the worst of the sickness is over.

Well, when I'm sick, I like to eat congee, not made of oats or wheat, but cooked cereal made from rice or millet, that easy to digest. I also like to eat fruits, such as apple, pear, orange and so on.

My appetite is not really working when I am sick. My taste buds are not working so well when I am ill. I vomit most of the time after eating. But usually I can tolerate eating apples.

Hi, careguarden
Whenever someone is sick in our house, the usual thing we have his arroz caldo or rice porridge because it is easy to digest, I guess. However, since my taste buds are not good, I prefer something more salty. Like a flavorful soup. I also like to eat ice cream -- well, I like to eat ice cream sick or not.
Take care!

Yes, its no doubt that my taste bud won't be as good when I'm sick as compared to my normal days. I would normally feel like as if my tongue is being dried up when I am sick that I feel so 'tasteless' and would want to taste at least something with taste that is not so dry and heaty. I would normally have fish porridge or oat with cereals for breakfast and as for lunch and dinner I would have either fish soup or cream of mushroom or corn.
