disaster what if 1

The local weather announces that a hurricane (typhoon), is headed your way. Strong winds and possible flooding included. You live in a low lying area that is known for flooding. You have 3 hours before the storm hits. What do you do?

Get the heck out of there. That's what I would do. If I couldn't do that I guess I would just try to prepare the best I could for the storm.

what would you take, how would you prepare your house for the storm, what provisions would you buy if you had the time. Do you have a checklist of things that need to be done in such an event?

I don't have a checklist but I probably need to have. I guess I would be happy to get out with my family.

Its always good to warn neighbors. Not everyone pays attention to the weather, and some are disabled or elderly, so they'll just give up, and say eh if its my time its my time.
