hey, end of this decade is approaching fast. This was the decade of computers. In 2000 who would have thought that a PC would have 2 gb ram, 320 gb hdd as well as quad core processors. Now if the trends go same how will be computers by 2020; 16 GB RAM would be common, Dual cores will totally perish, while quad-cores will be looked down with 8 -core replacing them. 5 tb hard disk, 4 gb graphics. Waht are ypur perceptions about future of computers

In fact, we can not assume anything regarding to developments , that too in the science and technology. We are able to unbelievable progress in many of the things within the past 4-7 years. The speed and additional features are having much importance in case of computers.Anything can be developed or invented in any fields. We are finding difficulties to just work with such inventions ,nowadays. It is very hard for me to think over in this.

Most of what you are talking about is probably already made. The government and computer agencies themselves have better technology which the average man has no access to as of yet. Still I see a bright future in upgrades for computers... by the time 2010 comes I will be able to show my kids my old sony vaio and let them see how bad we had it back in the day like our parents did to us when they show us the old video game systems, etc. Not to mention old computers will be worth a lot someday ^^

development is on its full peak and like wise who thought that a mega one building big computers will be as small as a book in that old times.
Who thought in the past that once man will ever step on moon, which once seemed almost impossible.

There is a limit to what can be done with silicon based micro processors and I think that in the next decade that limit will be reached so that we will see the emergence of machines that have the electronics construced at the molacular level. I believe that research aimed towards that is already in progress.

Computer's speed of development, really very alarming, dial-up Internet access, in my mind, it seems that is what happened yesterday, but now the network, home users have broadband, the speed is reached 4M / s, then the development of computer hardware, That is more speed of a rocket up again. I think in 2020, I really can not imagine, when the computer is configured to how high in the end.
