My husband was caught in traffic due to floods in almost whole of metro manila and wasn't able to go home last night. He was stuck in traffic from 9am to 10pm, from Osmena cor. San Andres St. going to Makati with low gasoline =(. Poor hubby, no aircon all through out the waiting, good thing there's a lot of vendors who took advantage of the situation so he's starving in the traffic jam unlike the other area.
Ondoy causes a lot of damage not only in Manila but also in other region. They say that this is a historical event. There was a flood in Metro Manila 40 years ago but not as worst as what had happen yesterday.
I hope this won't happen again in the future.

hello dhedows,
Ondoy really made a big mark in our country and in history. It caused a lot of casualties. Lucky for my husband, he was also stuck in traffic for almost five hours only. He have a motorcycle that's why he just walked and pushed the motorcycle in the flood. And just Thank God nothing worse happened to you and your husband.
Let's us pray for the other victim of the typhoon.
