There are so many interesting heroes and heroines to read about in the Bible. If you could go back to Biblical times today, what biblical figure would you most identify with?

Good choice! When i was thinking over this question, Esther was the first person that came to my mind. She was a very strong example to her people. She was to be admired.

Ester is a wonderful woman, one of my favorite stories within the bible. She shows such strength and power when she was willing to die for her people rather than not speak up.

Right, there many interesting heroes in the Bible. One of the all times heroes in the Bible was Moses. He freed his people from the Egyptians. Even though it became his own family as well. It is also historical because of the 10 commandments that God gave to him. It is the covenant we had for the Lord. There are many heroes like Noah, Joshua, the Apostles and others of them.

you are right. he becomes the strength of his people. and with him, there we're conversion after they did to Moses the first time he went to Mt. Sinai.

Its hard to pick one woman that I would identify mostly with. They all have aspects that I see in myself. I would say the woman at the well. I know she is a minor character, and doesnt even have a name. She was bleeding for years, and when she saw Jesus she thought if she just touched the hem of his robes, she'd be healed. I have felt that way many times. If I could just touch the hem of his robes, then I would be healed. She had so much faith in God, while I admit I may not have as much faith as her, I still have faith that he can do anything.

I think that I'm alike Sarah, the wife of Abraham. In fact my familial situantion is not the same with her, but the way I love my partner is similar to hers.

There were some so many Biblical figures that did important things. Yet others endured trials to strengthen them. Sarah was indeed a good choice. Thanks for your input.

i would say Jochebed this is a very good subject. Jochebed was Moses's mother. she hid her baby to keep him from being killed. she also, put him in the brush at the river for the pharoahs daughter to find and keep. i could see myself doing everything humanely possible to save any of my kids from harm i have many times and would have done everything like her. i can understand her and admire her as a great and wonderful woman.

What an interesting choice! Jochebed suffered a terrric sacrifice. She deserverd more recognition than she received.

Luckily I am female so I wouldn't have to think about the majestic David nor the strong Samson, nor the funny Noah. I am tempted to put the scaredy cat Jonas because I am sometimes lack the courage... But anyways, there a few to ponder upon. Let us eliminate Eve because she ate the apple, LOL. Poor fruit. Anyways, whatever the fruit is. That leaves us with Ruth, Judith, Esther, Hannah, Sarah, Rebecca, who else...I am sure I am forgetting someone important. But I would relate with Ruth for the sole reason that I'd always been loyal.
