I don't hate any fruit, although, I do like some more than others. I used to dislike raspberry because I thought they smelled like ants. My taste buds have since changed. Probably the fruit I like least is the fruit of the cactus, because, to me, they have practically no taste at all.

I hate apples and I can't stand having to eat them. They taste so powdery and bleah! But I love apple juice, apple candy, apple pie, apple cake, dried apples, pickled green apples. Life can be funny sometimes. But my distaste for apples probably comes from the fact that it's so cheap that it was the only fruit that my family could afford when I was young. I was kinda forced to eat it since there was nothing else and now I vehemently refuse to eat apples as a fruit.

i use to hate durian...coz i don't like its smell and i think it does not taste good...
but just a few days back...my perception about durian totally changed! someone gave as a durian and i try eating it...to my surprise, i come to like it and i don't even feel different about its smell...hehe
so right now, most of the fruits are good for me, maybe what i just don't like now is that fruit called 'tsesa'( sorry but i don't know how it is called in english} although i know that its rich in vitamin a...still i don't like it...i don't like its texture to the mouth & its smell...huh!

Ow I see... Durian is not that expensive if you can bargain it. Of course you don't buy it in store but on the street side :) I can't bargain well so usually I ask my aunt to bargain for it. Luckily we are durian maniac :D if it's durian season, you can find a lot of durian seller on the street side, and you can bargain it! Most of them are sweet but you still have to choose carefully :)
I'm curious with tsesa, I wonder how it tastes, hehehe

I searched it on the internet, it called sawo in my country. I also don't know the English term for it, hahaha. I hate that it. I used to like it when I was a kid, but I hate it now. I think it's too sweet or powdery, LOL.
Hahaha, mostly people hate durian because of its smell. They hate the smell so they don't want to try to eat it.. :D

I'm from Indonesia :D yes, most of people base the taste with the smell, including me, LOL..

Oh, sawo huh? Where are you from by the way? :) Yes it's kind of powdery, and I don't know. I just don't like it even when I was young. Haha. Well, I would like to try durian some other time. Maybe it's not that bad after all because most people base the taste with the smell. I would try not to do that. Haha. Take care! :)

Everybody has their own taste and I appreciate it. Jicama is eaten as a fruit in my country. I never see anybody use it as a veggie,hehe..
I don't know why, but I don't like its taste. I've tried to eat it several time though but I just can't eat even 1 slice!

This is very easy for me...I hate watermelon as well. I remember eating it as a kid and not having a problem with it but now even the smell of it makes me gag sometimes. My husband and kids really like it so I try to at least get a few times for them when it is in season...it takes everything I have to cut it up for them, usually my husband does it. I don't like the smell, the taste and definitely the texture...so grainy, YUCK!!!! I am pregnant so a few months ago I actually tried a piece thinking that maybe I would like it because of the pregnancy, I was wrong, I still hate it!

Jelly,
I hate lemons too. They taste slimy and yucky. Many people drink pure lemon juice in the morning as Vitamin C. To many, it is the best health drink. I do not concur. I rather have my breakfast orange juice anytime.

Hello Frolicgirl,
I like to eat fruits. If I will choose 1 fruit that I don;t like. I think it is dragon fruit. I hate to cut dragon fruit, I hate its taste and it make my tongue full with fruit coloring, LOL.
I know it is a natural coloring but still I don't like it.
Once in a while I will buy dragon fruit to eat, just because its high value of vitamins.

Hello Frolicgirl,
Glad to see your reply.
I see from the market there are 2 type of dragon fruit. One type is red flesh and another one is white flesh. But both the dragon fruits are sweet, there aren't sour taste. I don't know is there any sour dragon fruit.
I would like to add in here: Try to give your responses and comments in at least 3 full lines so you get to earn something. You don't get anything for content written less than 3 full lines.

I am a fruit lover. So far I haven't come across a fruit that I hate. I like local
tropical fruits as well as temperate zone fruits. Fruits are great as they provide
all the nutrients, minerals and vitamins that we require.

Hands down the avocado! I just can't deal with the greasiness of it. Dried fruits run a close second.
ENJOY!

Yes, in Australia, we have avocado with savoury foods, not sweet foods. I have friends who are half Brazilian/Japanese who were disgusted when we made sushi and put avocado in it...LOL

The only fruit I know I can't eat is banana, I don't know how it called or what type of banana it is, but the one I'm referring is the big one and it skin is green. I've only eat this banana few times and every time it made me sick, so I stop trying. I like most of the fruits I have eaten and watermelon is one my favourite.
