Most of the gifts I got till now are show case items and photo frames which I really didn't want. It is against my culture to say 'no' to a gift. Of course, I won't hesitate to take expensive gifts like jewelry.
The only thing I got in m life as a surprise gift, which I really wanted is a small lipstick case, where I keep my pen drive. One more gift, my room mate got me sandals and hand bag for my wedding, which I was planning to buy.

I do,most of time.Actually,it doesn't matter what I got, such as a pen,a book, everything is precious for me.I like the feeling of geting presents from my friends or my relations. It shows they care about me and remember me.At that time,I really have a sense that we always get together with each other whenever and wherever we are.

No, not really. I do receive practical gifts which I can use around the house or for my own daily use. So, far no one has made it a mission to give me the things I want. My husband is more interested in giving me cash to buy what I want. Maybe that is his way of giving me what I want. He is no mind-reader and I accept his manner of providing me his gifts.

well sometimes i get a gift what i am really interested. for i would tell my mom what i want.haha...so she would buy it for me. but i have never received a gift what i want it inside as i did not tell her/him. i don't think that there is such a friend that knows what you really want if you did not tell her. but when i received a gift what i am really like, i would be so grateful.

Yes, I have. But I am the one who purchased the item. I always get what I want when I buy it for me. I have received some really nice items from friends and family. But very seldom do they know what I want. Their heart is in the right place though.

hi, I would really feel very happy if get gifts of any sort from my beloved ones at that a gift I would really want is really delightful. Once I got a cellphone from my girlfriend. That was my favorite gift I have ever had because I love that gift as well as the person who gifted. The cell phone I already had had some fault, so I wanted to replace with a new one. The timely gift from a timely person was really enjoyable.

All the gifts that I really want are given to me by my younger sister now and then. The other day she gave me lip gloss that I love to use. Then she gave me dress material out of which I got lovely dresses stitched, then she also gave me lovely pyjamas to wear. I also love to give her gifts. I made lovely chochet doilies and coasters to her. Then I also presented her with a crochet shawl that I had made all by myself and she really loved it. I love to give gifts just as much as I enjoy receiving them!!

As a matter of fact, yes :D
I lost my cellphone twice already, both were stolen (at different times). The first one got stolen in school, my beloved phone which was a gift from my parents for helping them out one summer. Luckily, my mom won a phone a week after my phone got lost, in a raffle at a grocery store. Naturally, the phone was given to me.
After a few months, we had a praise and worship concert. This was the memorable day when my phone (the one my mom had won in the raffle) got stolen again. From that day on, I never expected to have another phone in my possession as I had lost 2 phones already.
When my birthday came, my sister surprised me by a late night gift. It was a relatively small box, and when I opened it, I burst into tears when I saw it was a new phone. I was really touched. And I love my family all the more as they trusted me again. And I still have the phone with me, and I vow not to lose it ever!!!

The laptop I am using now was a gift from my husband. It is a great gift and one that I wanted all along. I guess he bought it because he did not want me using his computer and bringing all sorts of viruses in it. He even got both my kids their personal laptops. Either way, it gives us all independence and privacy with all our files and emails. Isn't he just great?

I can't remember very clearly, but i guess every present I was ever given make me really happy. not for the present itself, but for my friend/relative's attitude. You know., I'm rather a lonely person and when someone demonstrate this kind of attitude towards me, it tends to make me really happy.

I have had some pretty cool gifts. The person that probably always gets me the gift I want is my mom. She always asks me about things I want. She knows what I'm interested in, so it's not difficult for her to give me a gift that I will appreciate. Other people don't really give me good gifts. I can't tell them their gifts are horrible, but there's nothing stopping me from thinking it. The way I avoid getting unwanted gifts is by letting people know what I am interested in. If me and the person giving the gift are not that close, then they shouldn't be giving me a gift anyway.

Once I got a toy when I was least expecting it. It was all of a sudden from the least expected person. It was not a special occasion like my birthday or anything. But still I got the gift. It was one of my most wanted gifts. And that time it seemed liked the best gift I received.

I got my first laptop, a nintendo ds, a psp (i love video games), pretty much any game console I wanted I got, and even and steam iron (I really wanted it). I have have gotten a lot of things that I wanted as a gift. I even got two digital cameras. The people that get gifts for me usually know what I want because I always talk about it. They will either gift me the item I want or money so I can get whatever I want. It works out so lovely for me. Good thing I don't have expensive taste.

Hello, Daliaj, in our area, we do not receive gifts often. So I always feel very happy when receiving gifts, no matter what the gift is, even a card. The most unforgettable gift I received is a dress from my mon at my 8 years old bithday. It's so beatiful that I still remember what it looks like, and it's quite expensive too.

No matter what gifts my friends send me, I am very pleased for that as it stands for the wishes that money can not buy. My friends always prob what are the gifts I would like to receive the most and I will tell her if something I really want to get.
But sometimes what I want is not a gift, but a surprise. If the gifts she sends out of my guess, there is no excitement over that.
