Is my BF the only one that does this?!?! Every Sunday he will sit on the sofa for hours! I'm in shock if he even moves an inch! lol...Watching football game after football game! He even ordered a football package through our cable company... So he is able to watch every single game! So my question to you is that do all guys do this?

I'm sure there are a lot of men out there who do that! I'm a woman and love football, but life doesn't stop for football...only the PACKERS:)! Go Pack Go! Kill the Vikings tonight!

I would if I was allowed to - as it is I watch the highlights when the family has all gone to bed... (soccer rather than the football you are probably referring to but the principle is the same I guess..)

aw... Hi livewyre! Poor you! Everyone needs to share the television! You should be allowed to at least watch a little!

I can totally relate..to your boyfriend! I love watching football and don't mind sitting on the couch all day watching game after game. My boyfriend is thrilled that I don't get mad at him for watching football all the time and he loves that I'm into it just as much as he is!

yeah my partner does it weather his team is playing or not. thing is he takes the game to seriously, so i don't like watching it with him. that's the only reason we have pay tv is so he can watch the rugby league. i think it's a guy thing as well.

Not all guys do this but many do. My husband likes a couple of football teams so he only watches those but he loves NASCAR and we plan our weekends around the races. When I was growing up, sports on TV on Sunday was a tradition. Baseball and football. My entire extended family were big fans and there was always lots of folks and lots of food. It was fun and a tradition that my first husband and I participated in for many years. My step-son is so into football that he buys the package, too...which irritates his girlfriend to no end because she can't get him to do anything on Sundays.

Hey Spalladino! You know I never thought about it that way... Maybe it's a little tradition that my bf and I can start. My daughter is only two but knows almost every sport out there. It's cute when you see her cheering. Thanks for the story about your family. I love recieving stories in a response. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

I do tell him that. He better not choose football over me!! It gets to me sometimes. Him just sitting there watching tv. I feel as if I am home alone on Sundays. Lol.

I think it is quite common for guys to do this. I think there will be more when next year world cup starts. There will be a lot of crazy fans either sitting infront of the television shouting or buy ticket to the stadium and start cheering.

Hi prikayjo, I think most of the boys who follow the European League will do the same. I, myself, always stay in front of the TV almost every Saturday and Sunday. I always watch English premier league and La Liga (Spain League). English Premier League live telecast usually started at 7.00pm until 2.00am here. La liga will started at 2.00am until 6.00am. So, their in no sleep on Saturday night.
