Have you ever looked back on your old myLot discussions? The one that you may posted long time ago, like two years back or so...? I just reading back my old discussion about "high school experience : a great or worst experience of your life" and until now I feel that it's the greatest discussions I ever had with myLotters. Why? There's a few reason:
1. At the time, I just having a reunion with my high school friends and feel so happy about reconnecting with my old friends, so I have strong reason to start this discussion.
2. It shockingly generated 39 discussions, which is the most response I get from at discussion at the time!
3. I'm really surprised of how great each response is. Usually I expect people only response 4 lines and sometimes not have a really nice content in it. This time, it's a really different response. It made me surprise that people still emotionally attached to their high school experience, no matter what they age is. I also really touched by many myLotters confession which truly came from their heart. Their joy, their pain (I tell you, there's a lot of pain you can feel from the responses there), their story fascinates me reading it. It's like all the responses will be great if I make a book about high school moments.
So, what is your best discussion?...Tell us why it is so special for you. Happy myLotting

Hi sophisticated boy,
I am not very old member here may be less than a year or just about an year. Though i have put many discussions here and my discussions dont evoke much responses here from people. The best discussions which evoked few responses from public which i posted was "should mylot allow edit and delete on your responses." It got me 61 responses and last one was as recent as yesterday even though this discussion is ^ months old and i god a rude response in my other discussion and so i thought how good it would have been if we had power to delete rude remarks and thus started that discussion though didnt expect much responses but looks many people here have been getting rude fellow mylotters.

Hi agrim, same as you , I only join here in April and we never know which discussions that will generate a lot of responses. It always hit and miss, sometimes I hope certain topics can attracts people but it not, sometimes it turn up nicely and sparks an interest of many people. Usually topic that relates to myLot, such as your best discussion generate 10+ responses. I notice that there are some rude people here but we cannot ban people diversity here right? I always think myLot is a small world, people will different characteristics and personality are welcome here, either the good or bad ones:) Thanks for the response!

There is a difference between what I felt was my best discussion topic and what earned the most comments. The most comments were earned for discussions of "why do beautiful women become lesbians", "Leave Chris Brown alone", and Four things Obama must do, He has not done enough". Each of these discussion earned over 7 comments. Thats the best I've gotten so far. Some of the onesI thought would earn alot earned 0.

Well, I haven't been mylotting for nearly two years, two months is more like it, but I can look back at my old discussions and choose the one that I think is the best one that I've ever started.
The best discussion that I feel that I've ever started is my discussion about how do you drink your water. Some of the reasons that I feel that this was the best discussion is that:
1) I learned some things about other parts of the world from it.
2) I was able to somewhat confirm my suspicion that less people drink bottled water than used to.
3) It was just a fun discussion in general.

Well, I do not have your time and energy for sure to dig that far back. Suffice to say, I just glance through the topics from time to time. Some topics which are more general, has more appeal and attracted a lot of responses. Others that have more niche interest oftentimes attract no responses. None are really special at the moment.

Yeah, I usually only glance them if I think my topic is not that great. I only looking discussion thoroughly if I think my discussion topic is really good and the response I get was also very nice. Like this one...I just realize I haven't comment on all your responses :) Happy myLotting!

Yeah, this discussion will generally generated a lot of responses. My suggestion for you is keep on posting responses or don't forget to comment all the responses in each of your discussion, even if it is only a single line, to maintain relationship with your friend, so they will be loyal to response the discussion you opened. Plus, if you willing to put an effort, you must definitely check out the tasks. Thanks for the response darni!

There are many times I have went and checked out some of my older discussions to see what was said there, and to maybe still get some tips and ideas for things still going on in my life, or around me, in here, etc. I find though when you see discussions from people no longer active in here it makes you wonder what ever happened to them, and hope they are OK as well. But personally I enjoy from time to time checking out some of my older discussions and still find I can still learn from quite a few of them all of the time.

sophisticated boy hi lets see my best discussion was both the'
best and the worse, as I put my heart into it about smoking not
being healthy for people, and it caused me a lot of angry vile'
answers from smokers who flamed me and dissed me to the point where I was in tears. I got many many responses good and bad but I had lost my husband to three heart attacks from smoking three packs a day. this discussion also tore my ten down to a five overnight and mylot admins kicked out the two trolls who did that in one night, and pushed my star backup but only to an 8 but that is okay,.

In my dictionary the best discussion I have started is about should I take my laptop with me when I have a holiday? So far I have received over 55 responses. I think it is my most popular post as well as the best one. The more response I receive the more I realise it’s not a simple question as it is like. Now I really feel confused what I should do.
Now I really enjoy starting discussion than reply other’s discussion. When you start one then you are in waiting for the answer. The progress is amazing.
This morning I posted one about how to post banners here, and then I really got good solution for it. I got more than I thought on Mylot. Now I’m getting addicted to the website.
