How do you keep yourself on track?

Sometimes, I get these moments, when I know I should do something, but I don't know where to begin.
I guess I should write down my goals, and then work on some ways to get there, but I find life so complicated, because there are lots of things you have to manage at once, like relationships, career, your own sense of purpose, not to mention more daily things like chores, and picking out clothes/shopping for things, tidying your space.
How do you manage?
And how do you tell yourself what to do first, and whether you're on the right track, or using your time effectively?

I feel the best way to help keep yourself on track in life is by Writing things down and keeping a list of things that are important to get done. Also keeping on track of your bills to help keep your stress levels down, and all of your bills always caught up can help as well. Learning to keep on top of things is truly important especially in a day and age where it is getting so much harder to live for sure.
