Stars and Numbers??

Hi artistry there isn't much to add after akuler has had his say but the information in the box above is wrong. Your star can go up and down, the rating is how other mylotters rate you. Always remember to only rate plus, or ignore, or report. The negative button is not for things you disagree with and if you use it unwisely your own rating will fall. It is possible to lose your rating though and have it fall, particular areas to be aware of are politics and religion where disagreements tend to be rated down as you will see by the low reputations of those who post in politics. So always respond back to each of your respondents with a quality response and your reputation will rise through the ranks.

Hello Artistry, The star is something about the rating from others or Mylot itself, I am not so sure. But if you get good reputation, you will get a blue star, with number 10 in it. It is the best rating, follow by number 9, number 8 and so on! But if you are now in the best rating, you are are going to stick for that forever. The number can go down if your reputation goes slow.

A number inside the star indicates your rating by myLor. Ten is the maximum, meaning the best. It is based on many factors. Basically it is a function of the quality of your responses to others' discussions and your own discussions.

Hi artistry, The star (and number inside) is your posts rating. It is how others rate your posts (discussion/response/comment) here. The highest rating is 10 and lowest is 1.

i think some different because some one have low discussion but their star number is up then other have high number of discussion. i think then you comment on any discussion +,- sign appear at below of the every comment if the person give + sign to your discussion i think you star will be increase.
