Has Anyone Else Noticed A Change In KFC?

The other night my husband and I decided to order some food from KFC, and the stuff was absolutely awful. The chicken was salty and dry, and didn't taste anything like the stuff we remembered. Was this just as bad-tasting batch, or has this change been noticed all around?

Say it aint so! I haven't been to KFC in a long time . In fact I am planning to have KFc for Thanksgiving dinner. I never really liked turkey and besides , there is football. I hope my local KFC is better than yours. I'll keep this post in my email and tell you how my KFC exeperience went.

I haven't been at KFC for well over 6 months... I do remember though the chicken was really good and juicy.. I only get the extra crispy.. I don't like the other kinds that they have there.. However i never did try the new kind they make.. I don't like any of the side dishes either.. I know I sound very picky but I just normally go for the chicken..

I have and I confess that like you I wasn't really pleased with the results. I wonder if it has to do with the new laws regarding fats and all that stuff. The truth is that I prefer one piece of food that tastes good, than half a dozen that don't and that's that LOL

I haven't had KFC in a long time-over a year I am sure. The last time we did have it though, it was fine. But your post reminded me of how terrible other foods and restarants have become. My last extreme diappointing visit with horrible food was at Red Lobster a few years ago. I haven't been back since.
I think in the last several years, the quality of many restaurants has gone straight down the tubes. I don't know if they are cutting corners in recipes, buying cheaper products to serve, maybe leaving food too long in the heating/warmer things, who knows. I don't spend my money on much when it comes to eating or grabbing something for take out. We can all see how expensive it is anymore, and we can certainly see the money often times should not be wasted on such.

I got KFC last month and it was fine. I have not had it since then though. I noticed a while back it was nasty though but then it got better again. I think it has alot to do with the people cooking it.

I would say I haven't had fried chicken from any place in over 25 years - I just don't like the stuff. They have the "grilled" stuff now that I have eaten and its okay, but the pieces are small - okay - I'm on a diet - I'll live...
And the roomie hasn't had any since May and she didn't have a problem then, so I don't know, maybe just a bad batch or a problem in your area... I do know that different stores do things a little differently, the one near us isn't as good as the one up in a better area - they don't fix as much grilled for one thing and once they were out of green salads.

hi danishcanadian my friend Nelda said much the same, it'was awful she said, but she said very greasy and not at all'
like it used to be. I haven't been in one for a long
'time but used to love their chicken. that is sad, and I
am wondering why. if they don't put out better food they
could be in bit trouble customer wise.
