It's a good thing Michelle Obama doesn't wear hats!

google images, turkey hat - Wouldn't Michelle look spiffy with one of these on her head?

I'm sure glad that Michelle Obama doesn't wear hats, because it would probably resemble the monstrosity below! Why on earth doesn't someone tell her her fashion sense is laughable? She needs a stylista or fashionista to tutor her on what's appropriate for a first lady to wear, not to wear whatever her weird designers make for her; and you just know that they are high-fiving each other, and giggling about "She wore it! She really wore it! Now, gimme that hundred bucks I bet!" I read some where that one of her designers makes clothes for male barbie dolls to make them look like girls. I guess that would explain some of the fashion disasters she's worn. I remember when Hillary Clinton first came on the scene, and how everyone made fun of her-her make-up, her hair, her clothes, everything. I don't care for Hillary's politics, but I'll say one thing, she jumped through hoops trying to look presentable, and it shows. So why is it okay for Michelle to wear clothes out of season, in hideous colors that do nothing for her? She has a beautiful tone to her skin, she could wear a lot more colors that are flattering to her than that awful purple or black that she seems to like. I'm also tired of people saying Michelle is 'Beautiful'. She is not beautiful, she is attractive, and she is by no means ugly. No amount of taxpayer money paid to the media is going to make her 'beautiful.'

It's very ignorant on your part to assume that her high fashion stylists would dress her in something mediocre. They are trying to get their name recognized and it may be at the expense of her style. We see examples of it on the runway all the time, who in there right minds wears most of the stuff up there. 10 percent of the high fashion stuff leaks down to the public. And who's to say that the things you wear right now won't be considered laughable in 10 years? Fashion experts are out just to make a statement. And why pick on the president's wife...have you seen LADY GAGA? I know she's an overexageration but lets talk about someone that has something more than a couple of overpoofed dresses in their closet.

Lady Gaga is a transvestite, so that's why (he/she/it) dresses the way it does. The First Lady of the United States should dress a whole lot better. That's all I'm saying. I'm not picking on her. Her designers should be fired. Our taxpayer dollars could be spent on quality, not crap.

Our taxpayer dollars do not buy the first lady's clothes. That is personal money. At least, she uses American designers. Give the poor girl some credit.

It is really amazing that you think beautiful is all about physical. If you would open your eyes her whole personality pulled in with your attractiveness makes her a very caring and beautiful woman. What does the fashion have to do with what she does as a first lady? People always making a big deal about she is wearing how shallow are we? She will not be wearing all the clothing that past president wives have worn. She is younger than most and her style is unique she isnt too worried about walking in anothers footsteps. She is her and her thought is take me as I am or dont take me at all.

That's not what I'm saying. I just want to know why someone won't tell her what she's wearing is crap. Just because a designer makes something doesn't mean it's good. She represents us, the American people, and she is embarrassing us. I know she doesn't care that she is causing people to clap their hands over their mouths and laugh when they get outside of earshot of her. I could care less about fashion or whether someone is good looking or ugly. You're right. It's what's inside that counts. But when it comes to representing an office, even though it's her husband that's president, she should show some kind of common sense when it comes to dressing in public. If she wants to dress like a weirdo in private, that's fine.

I was surprised during the campaign to see her in a gingham dress that did absolutely nothing for her and made her look really dowdy. Fortunately, she must've burned that dress! I don't see that many pics of her, I'm too caught up in the real business that's going one. Just for grins, I think I'll go look up some pics. Everyone needs a diversion now and then! She really is very attractive. She should get some stylists that bring out the best in her. I would like her to change her hair--it's a flattering style but she has to spend a couple hours each day getting it that way and I'm sure she has better things to do!

I don't think anyone could get a blind person to wear that "turkey hat". On the discussion of the First Lady's style, I do think she needs some new stylist but not all of the outfits are horrible. Maybe she likes how she looks in them and in the end it is her that decides what goes on her body. As for her being commented on as beautiful or not, I have learned early that beauty is really a matter of opinion. I think she is a lovely woman, beautiful I'm not sure. I also think that Paris Hilton is a peculiar looking stick figure but that is my opinion and doesn't mean that others feel the same way about her looks. The media itself has weird taste anyone.

First Lady Michelle Obama made People magazine's Best Dressed list this year, as well as Vanity Fair's International Best Dressed list. I think her clothing choices, while she's had a few clunkers, are classic and beautiful, and I think it's great that she shops at J. Crew rather than wearing grotesquely overpriced designer clothing during this economy. I also think that she is a physically beautiful woman--beauty is subjective. Not everybody finds the same types beautiful. Plenty of people think the first lady is beautiful and I am one of them.

I'm not a hater, stop with the racist B.S. race card crap, please, it's boring me to tears. I'm a melting pot of black, indian, white, and hispanic blood, so shut your pie hole! Mrs. Obama is wearing weird stuff, and people are too afraid to tell her. I think that's cruel. What she wears is inappropriate as first lady. Deal with it.

Some people should never wear hats because they look ridiculous in them or because the hat does not suit them. My boyfriend and I do not look good in hats. We have tried on many hats before and we looked terrible in them, but we have seen people who wear hats are look great with them on. It all depends on the hat and the person. Michelle Obama is a very beautiful woman, but sadly, I can never see her in any hat. Why? I think that it would take away from her true beauty. My mom, she is one of those women who looks great in hats, but only certain hats. She looks great with baseball hats and with the hat she wore for her sister's wedding (her sister thought that hats for her wedding was a great idea, and at the time it was, but nowadays, I do not suggest it). Hats are not for everyone.

I honestly could care less about her fashion sense or "style". That's something that has never been important to me in the least for the first lady or anyone else. There is so many things more important than that.

I wonder that your not cutting her down for some other reason. How Michelle Obama dresses is not politics,Everything political has been fine wardrobe. She looks fine ,I can't imagine being the first colored presidents wife.It has got to be hard enough, without criticism from people standing around every cornor.

why do you really care what the first lady looks like? isnt it her husband that you should be worried about? his policies and the way he looks at everything? i would presume that michelle wont be in the spotlight that much anyways.
