I've never eaten rice for breakfast. I try to make sure I eat breakfast each morning since it is the most important meal of the day. I typically eat something small though. Usually a bowl of cereal or just some fruit. Something to get my metabolism going and keep me full til lunch time rolls around!

cereals are more delicious than rice but cereals are more sweeter than rice... rice is somewhat tasteless but it is best paired with fried fishes, chicken, also soup, any kind of viand, with just a cup of it makes your tummy full.

My breakfast is rice porridge (mixed with oats, corn flour, etc), milk. Sometimes adds egg, corn, cookie.
It is said rice is better than porridge at breakfast, but I have been having porridge since I was a kid. So I think that's enough for me, I won't become hungry soon.
But almost people here buy breakfast from vendors and eat them on the way to work.
Generally speaking, coffee is not common for breakfast.

I do not take anything in the morning except coffee. I guess I am used to it already since I have been doing it for quite a time. Usually I take my coffee around 6 in the morning since I always wake up early. I just sit around and relax as I take my coffee. After about 30 minutes, then I take the shower. When I am in the office, I take another cup of coffee during break. Usually that is around 9am. I take lunch a lot earlier than other people. By 11 am, I am already taking my lunch.

I always eat rice at breakfast, I make it sure that my stomach is full in the morning because that is where I get my energy for my whole day activities. Nutritionists also claimed that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Skipping breakfast is not always a good idea for a healthy life.

i love rice but i don't take this for breakfast for two reasons: it is such a hassle since you have to cook something else to go with it and second, i find that i can move my bowels regularly if i take something in chocolate for breakfast (and that is something solid in chocolate). the liquid type wouldn't do...

Hello, Xannebull,
Rice is a source of carbohydrates. All cultures have their local source of carbohydrate, which is easily grown and available in plenty in the particular climate. In most the Asia country, it's rice.
For me, I've been eating rice every day of my life. But I never eat rice in the morning, I never eat rice as breakfast. I only eat rice for Lunch and dinner.
In the morning, I don't like to eat too heavy. I eat breads, cakes or biscuits. I just eat something that is simple and ready made, I don't cook anything in the morning. Since I don't take too much food in the morning, I normally will have my lunch a little early.

Hi Xannebull,
I don;t go for heavy breakfast in the morning. I will just have a simple and light breakfast every morning.
Normally, I will stick to bread with jam/kaya or I will make my own egg/chicken patty sandwiches. It is something that I like to eat most in the morning.
Lately, I make some pancakes for my breakfast and it has added as one of my menu for breakfast.
I will also have a cup of hot tea/milo or greenbean soup in the morning. I seldom go for coffee as I am not a coffee drinker.

I only do that sometimes. I can gain other carbohydrate source apart from rice for breakfast. We still going to eat rice for lunch and dinner anyway. I don't need a lot of energy in the morning so rice isn't compulsory. I start working in the afternoon so I will prepare rice for lunch. Sometimes we even skip rice for dinner.

Seeing as breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I tend to stuff myself with more food and eat less during lunch/dinner.
