Was Jesus really born on December 25? I wonder because December is wintertime and during the wintertime in Jerusalem as in many places, the place is enveloped in snow. And during these months of the winter, it is an open knowledge that shepherds in Jerusalem don't take out their flocks outside because of the cold especially at night. If that is the case, how come the shepherds and their flocks are depicted in the nativity as outside the fields that's why they saw the bright star pointing to where the baby Jesus was born? Also, I saw in the tv one time that a popular announcer, Kuya Kim, said that Christmas was originally a pagan festival. If so, why do Christians celebrate a pagan feast?

No Jesus was not born in December 25 that i am sure, from what i learned i know that he was born in the month of October using our regular english calendar, this information was based on the discovery of the of the certain testaments hidden in big jars that was kept inside a cave, i can't really remember where was that place, where it was stated there the timing of Christ birth where in historians had calculated it and it turned our to be somewhere in October, but if looking at the Jewish calendar i believe it will show the month of March.
