Why are you using mylot?

I'm a new user of mylot. Joined maybe 4-5 days ago. As I was looking around the discussion forums a minute ago, I stumbled upon a thread discussing about their earnings. And it suddenly hit me. Why are we so enthusiastic about earning a few pennies? There has to be something more productive that we can do with our time if our main purpose was to earn money.
As I'm writing this I keep asking myself why I have returned to the site over these couple of days. The answer is simple, it's an outlet for me to express myself. It is a place were we socialize and although most of us are strangers we make an effort to generate and participate in discussion for the little monetary benefit that we may receive.
So why do you keep coming back? Is it really for the money?

Yes. For me it's the money. It's true that myLot is also a place where we can debate on many topics and even a place to learn a lot of interesting things, but I wouldn't post if myLot will stop paying.
The few pennies you mention add up, and I've earned about $80 from myLot, to which October's payment will add, rising the earning to almost $100.
