If we control impulse spending, that itself is saving. I am weak in it. The moment I see something, whether I want or not, I buy it and later it will lie waste in my house. Another thing, what our grannies did, leave some money in this bag, that box though it is small amount. One of my favorite ways to save money is to buy groceries at the dollar store. You can actually buy brand name food there. Some of my favs are Dole Pineapple, Kraft Dinner, Crystal Light, Ragu spaghetti sauce. All of these items are less than half price at the dollar store. I have also compiled a price comparison list of the groceries that we regularly buy so that I know where milk is the cheapest.
