Cellophane treatment or hot oil?

My hair looks so dry nowadays because I don't condition it regularly. I'm planning to have my hair cellophaned but it cost much than having hot oil treatments. Which is a better treatment for dry hair, cellophane or hot oil? please give me ideas regarding the differences of the two and which is more beneficial in terms of cost and quality.
