break up because of 5.5 bucks( Especially need the voice of man)

Today, I heard someting, it is said that. One man would like to break up with his Girlfriend because the girl spent hime 5.5 bucks for her breakfast.Here's the words the guy said:
“3.5 bucks a bottle of milk, I can hardly waste money for a bottle of mineral water, You are no longer vergin,how do you dare to ask for milk priced 3.5 buck”
"Haven't you grow up, don't you konw the finacial crises, I work so hard to support my family, how can you waste my money?"
"How can I get married with you, extravagant girl and incapble of housekeeping,Now I even suspect if you fall love with me for the sake of money,you are not worthing my love, so let's put it to end".
From the view of girls, the man's so competible and basely.But at the same time, I acknowlege that under great pressure,man will be a liitle reasonless. So,I need the voice of man here. Of course,you can stand you point even your are a girl.

I agree with the response above. It is not clear enough. However, judging from the conversation, it's not because of 5.5 bucks the guy would put an end to their relationship. The girl is probably has the history of spending too much and unreasonably even though has been reminded many times by her boyfriend. So, the boyfriend might have given up and fed up on her attitude. Just a thought.

Exactly. The 3.5 $ milk is the drop that fill the glass, according to what can be "read" between the lines ..
yet is to find out what other reasons are behind all story. The finnancial situation, the agreements they made, parents/friends influention and so on.
As foor me, I was fiorst about to post similar woth your thoughts... I stoped only because I wanted to give the disscusion a chance to "grow"

I'm totally agree with you that we should think about the things more deep.We really don't know the details between them,so, we can not judge the things only depending on the voice of on side.
However, I still can not understand the words the man said:
"You are no longer a vergin, how can you dare to ask for milk priced at3.5?"
What's the relationship between expensive milk and vergin? Or Is there any relationship between these 2 things?

You're most welcome! There's no connection between virgin and the milk hehe... but I think what the guy meant was his girlfriend is not a child anymore, she's a big girl and all grown up that she's supposed to think and act like one.

I am sure you have very good intentions, yet allow me to tell you that the story is not complete ...
Of course, maybe here is not enough space to develop all facts or maybe you yourself don't know all details about prior facts and events were happen prior to such a extreme response ...
