Which one do you prefer? Shower, Bath Tub or Jacuzzi?

In actual fact I love to have them all.
If I am rushing in the morning to work,
I would prefer a shower. However, during
weekend, or in the evening, a hot bubble
bath with aromatherapy scent will be
excellent!
I would love to have a jacuzzi in my house
But it will cost a fortune...lol
So, what do you have at home, shower or bath tub?
My house only have shower unit...
Do share your views and preference..happy myLotting

If I am in a rush, a shower is best. If I have all the time in the world, I would rather have a nice long soak in a bath tub or in a jacuzzi. Long bath, hot water, bath salts and I am in heaven! Yes that is until the phone rings and cut short the fun!
Some people just douse themselves with buckets of cold water. Could be fun too;especially if you are bathing by a well.

Dear gracefuldove,
Wow, you really know how to enjoy life.
Good, keep it up!
Oh yes, it reminds me when we are living in
the estate. We have to take bath with buckets
of cold water. It really wakes us up!
Nowadays we are more blessed with hot shower, bath tub
and at times jacuzzi.... - heavenly!
I was hoping to go to Avillion and enjoy some wonderful
long bath tub / jacuzzi there..LOL
Btw, I won't be going to AGM tomorrow (29/9/09)

Hello Iriene,
I have two bath room at home. But we don't have any bath tub. Both the bathrooms here are just the shower unit. i will prefer shower unit as it is more convenience and I get no time to enjoy my bath on my daily routine, LOL.
Perhaps I can have bath tub once in a while while we get for holidays stay in the hotels. But I don't like it.. It is about the hygiene reason. Even in 4 star hotels, I still see the bath tub isn't that clean enough for me to lie on it.
I have the only best experience in HArd Rock Hotel in Bali. I like the hotel room and so to its bath room with Jacuzzi. Very Very clean and like new! My daughter even SWIM in the Jacuzzi

Hi Iriene, Bali is a nice place. When we plan to go there , my Father in law also worry so much about the bombing even it had happen so long time ago, he even asked us not to go near the beach because of the Tsunami happened years back.. Ops, you get to know today's latest news... There is another Tsunami happen?
Okay, back to the hotel bath tub. The Bali Hardrock is so nice, I just like theme hotel. Do you know that in Penang we had the first HArd Rock Hotel in our country? Perhaps you can try the Hard rock Hotel bath tub at Penang!
My hub and I is so particular when come to get things for our kids. The kid insist want bath tub, we could only wash the whole bath tub again and again before they can soak in the hotel bath tub. That is why I don't like to stay at OLD hotels.
I will try the hotel you mentioned. Thanks for your suggestion.

Dear vingyan,
Thanks for the prompt reply, truly appreciate it!
Yes, I heard of the tsunami in Samoa and the earth
quake in Indonesia. One thing I noticed, since year
2001, the are so many natural disasters and man-made
disasters happening around the globe including financial
crisis. Therefore, appreciate life and nature as much as
possible :)
Thanks for the information on HardRock Hotel Penang..
I believe it is quite costly...will goole on it later

I get into the shower most of the time since it's faster. On a cold winter night, I will sit in our tub and soak my cold feet. Love to relax in a tub of warm to hot water. We have a shower in one bathroom and in the other bathroom we have a shower/tub. The third bathroom doesn't have a shower or tub.

Shower is good if I am in a hurry. In fact, we only have shower at home. Still I spend at least 10 minutes in there for each shower. I love bathtub too. It's good to relax in the warm water, especially after stressful day. Probably that's why mom against the idea on having one. I never dream having a jacuzzi in the house. It too posh and cost a fortune. I can spend the money somewhere else.

Free SPA~~~
I love bathtub at hotel too and it seem quite impossible to make sure my younger siblings don't spend too much time inside. They can stay in it forever. It's annoying since we're on holiday and don't pay for the vacation to be in a bathtub alone.

the spa very much. The Tea Tree Spa specialist/therapist

taste of luxury spa. From now on, after this Holiday Inn Malacc,
I will set my eyes on spa holiday :D
Everyone should try... go for it!

Yes, you are right! It is not easy to maintain a
jacuzzi at home. We will only enjoy this 'luxury'

My son loves bath tub very much. He will be very

Well the bathtub in our house is kid sized. If I tried to bathe in it, I would have to hold my knees to my chest, or lay on my back with my legs up against the wall. Only time I've ever been in a hot tub was on vacation when I was a kid, at a Holiday Inn hotel. Its great when you have to fart. Hides the bubbles.

I haven't tried Jacuzzi yet but it looks really interesting so I want to try it someday. For now, my choice only revolves around shower and bath tub. I can say that I prefer shower because it doesn't waste too much water. I just use what my body needs. While on bath tub, you have to fill up the entire tub first then you'd drain so much water afterwards.

Dear IMEzekieL,
I agree with you, taking bath in the bath tub consume more
water. We fill up the bath tub and soak in it and wash with
soap/shower gel. At times we make bubble bath. We later take
another shower to clean away all the soap. It will double
the water used. A fast shower use less water and can wash our
hair too.
However, once in awhile indulge ourselves with nice hot bubble
bath is a great way to relax..

I prefer showers most of the time because they are quick. Often, a quick shower is all I can do because tub bathing needs a little more time to enjoy it. In addition, I cannot really stay immersed in hot baths for a long time because of my varicose veins. Medically speaking, hot baths are not advised. So, there's no point in having baths. Jacuzzi? We have one at home because of my husband's back problem (he was operated with a back problem) and he uses it to massage his back or to relieve his backaches. The children of course love to play in the bathtub while the jacuzzi is running.

Just some tips for you since you are new here. Your one
sentence response do not earn $ here. You need to response
at least 3-5 relevant sentences.
ust a summary from what I understand:-
1) Every response that you post, you will be paid. BUT bear in mind,
make sure at least minimum 3 relevant sentences regarding the topic
in discussion. A few cents per post..so the more you post, the merrier!
2) If you start a topic, then it is advisable that you comments on
the responses that you receive in order to earn. Again, minimum
3 relevant sentences! If you include a photo in your discussion,
it earns too! myLot pay on your comments for the responses
you received...
3) You can get referral to join under you. You will be paid 25% of
their earnings on postings here. So get more referral and it boost
your earnings.
4)I think (not so sure), the higher rating and with more quality
response, the earnings is higher! Just try and see for yourself.
If this strategy is true, let me know too:)

ohhh... there's another 'bathing style' practiced by our people...
we collect the water in a container - use a small 'pail' and pour water on ourselves - that's the 'traditional' way - the way our ancestors used to bathe when there was no 'running water' and used 'water-wells' and such.. but this 'bathing style' is still practiced in some houses - But, we dont have anymore wells!! - they have 'proper' bathrooms but they collect the 'tap water' in a big container...
