Are you for or against detoxing?

There are so many advocates of detoxing then some say it is a waste of time and can be dangerous. What do you think? Do you detox regularly, monthly, annually? What differences do you notice? Those for it say it reduces toxins and pollution from your body, improves immune functionm purified blood etc. I often a few times a year detoxing for a wekk and cutting out dairy, animal products, wheat, sugar, unhealthy fats, choclate, cakes etc and limit my intake to fruit, vegetables, pulses, nuts and seeds, using herbs and spices and sea salt, I may spend a day or two just having juices and soups for lunch/dinner then introduce the others towards the end of the week. I do feel more energetic, healthy, lighter and I even feel like I have a glow but 1 week it generally enough for me. What do you think? Do you detox or has detox been a bad or even dangerous experience for you? Have you ever tried colon, liver, kidney cleansing? Do you have tips or recommendations for detoxing safely and receiving the maximum benfits?

I do about 7 different cleanses a year, like the colon cleanse, liver cleanse, kidney cleanse, Parasite cleanse, heavy Metal cleanse, smokers cleanse. Ect....... I do a different one each month the brands that i use is renew life. I have never heard of a cleanse hurting anyone, and i do not know how they can be dangerous for anyone to do.

So you detox a different organ/section each month - sounds like a good plan. Do you eat furing your detox or do you just take the products?

Hi there and smile! Drinking water is one of the fastest and easiest ways to help clean out your system naturally. Drink as much water as you can as often as you can. A good way to do this is to keep a bottle on your desk, by your nightstand, in your car, or anywhere else you might see it and be reminded to drink it. The simple fact is, if you wait until you are thirsty it means it is already too late and your body is already considered dehydrated. Not only will you feel better with the more water that you drink, but you will look better as well. Drinking water can even help you to lose weight naturally. If you drink a full glass within 15 minutes before eating a meal, the water will help you feel fuller more quickly, causing you to eat less. Happy mylotting and smile always!

Thaks for that - I always have a bottle on my desk - it is keeping it up after I leave the office that I need to work on. I tend to drink less water in the evenings and on weekends.

I think detoxing is absolutely essential. The modern foods we eat are so contaminated and sometimes dangerous that you can trust very little of what you buy at the nearest supermarket. So, I would say detox as often as you can. I grow most of my veggies myself, so I don't really need detoxing.

It is very cool - that is where I would like to get to growing my own vegetables.
