why do people cheat?

a big percentage of people who cheat say that they did not want to do it. If you dont want to do it, then what makes them want to do it? And why is cheating such a big thrill? Most songs talk of cheating as if it were a normal thing. Is cheating normal? And is it true that once a cheater, always a cheater?

I hate cheaters but there are so many people out there who do it and i dont understand why or what the big thrill is, Maybe it is the chance of being "Caught Out" or "Sprung" that they enjoy so much. No way is cheating a normal thing to do but so many people do it these days maybe it is becoming the Norm!
And also i use to believe once a cheater always a cheater and still in so many case's it is true but i know of plenty of people who have cheated before in the past learnt from there mistake and never ever done it again!

Perhaps there's a reason to cheating. Men can cheat because you aren't spending enough time with him. Men can also cheat, because of no reason.. he's just bored with you.
I think for the last line, it's on case to case basis. Can't judge every tree just because of a rotten one.
