Me and my mom for months now have been trying to lose weight and it seems like every thing that we try is either to hard to stick to or it just doesn't work. Can someone please tell me some great tips that actually work for quick weight loss!!!

Exercise. Exercise, and then exercise some more! Try doing something intense like running, spinning, biking, or any other cardio, heart-pumping activity for at least a half an hour EVERY day. You should also strength train (free weights, using weight machines, etc) at least 2-3 times a week to not lose muscle mass. Other than that, it just comes down to the nitty gritty - there's no magic pill or diet product that's going to really help you lose weight. It's going to have to be hard work, commitment, and a lot of effort! But you can do it.
The best piece of advice I can give you - is to get into a routine at first. This will help you remember and commit to working out every day. Schedule it in, in your planner. Also? Try to make fun of it. While dieting, it's interesting to make up new low-calorie or low-carb recipes and really experiment around with vegetables and spices (both low-calorie). Also? Do you enjoy any sports? If you enjoy playing sports, you should use that to your advantage - especially before winter kicks in. Play tennis or badminton at public courts, go biking around a scenic lake in your area, sign up for a community class with your mom - like kickboxing, yoga, pilates, or spinning (if you have them in your area). Working out can actually be fun, and a social event.
Anyways, good luck to you and your mom! Just remember that to permanently lose weight - it truly does take time. Remember not to deprive yourself and to EXERCISE as much as you can!

Honestly, I think that the best way to lose weight is to watch what you eat. Exercising more just makes you want to consume even more calories, so it's best not to do too much of that.

I've been doing weight watchers and it has been working for me. You can go to their website and search to see if there are meetings near you. I joined mid may this year and have lost 20 lbs so far. It is easy to follow and I don't really exercise much. I walked with my kids some but other than that I didn't do much. You still get to eat things you want, its all about staying within your points for the day.

to lose a pound, you should cut 3500 calories from your recommended daily intake. so if your recommended daily intake is 2400 and you cut your intake to 1600, you can lose a pound in about four days. (800 calories was taken out. it will take you 4 1/2 days to reach 3500 calories).

I started the herbalife diet and I really love it. There are places online where you can buy the stuff cheaper then through your local dealer. But The person I am doing it through calls me every 3 days or once a week to see how I am doing. You get extra energy from the plans, and it does work.
On the other hand if you live in the US instead of drinking sodas try the Fuze drinks. I drink them all the time lately. 10 calories in a bottle. The strawberry melon is delicious. I couldn't believe how good it was. Most diet drinks suck for taste but this is so good. Also you should drink plenty of water its a known fact now that water helps us to flush away bad things in our system including some fats.

Please take a look on the count of calories. If you can make it and balance the calories, then the body can maintain its balanced weight neither less or high.
