Indian performance and rain and ...

Well my friends, I am not too much crazy about cricket but love to watch some matches played between well groomed teams. Now this on going series provided me some unpleasant thoughts on Indian Cricket. They were numero uno but seeing their performance in the two matches I saw no traces of their being a sharp weapon team image.
One or two players' poor performance should not invite total collapse of the team. Where lies the problem? Is Dhoni under too much pressure? The only relaxed players yesterday was Amit Misra, Tendulkar and few more. What is Ishant Sharma ding and similar question on Harbhajan sing too? They were not so much different in their delivery of ball from the match with Pakistan.
Is it too much cricket or too much money showered on them that they are not a team but playing as merely an individual? On their facial appearance thee was lacking confidence and commitment as well. And now only Pakistan can save India to enter semi and who knows the Caribbeans could bounce back and chew up the languishing team India.
what is your view?

Hi there,
As foot ball and basket ball with your country Cricket is with ours. Three things I feel are responsible here. The selection of the team, boosting mental stamina and playing as a single unit. If these hurdles are overcome there would be sunny days or else things would remain the same.

Hello Subha,
The indications are like this. There was lack of confidence and also lack of application. And these cost us the match against Pak and yesterday too the performance was not up to the mark.

Hi,
Hmm.. look i have a differant view on this. India is defiantely missing their key players in this tournament. We definately dont have an option for sehwag, yuvraj or zaheer khan. The alternate players are too young and not that good to replace them.
Dhoni reply heavily on yuvraj both in bowling and batting and he missed his services dearly. Also having said that we lost only one match. Indica could have won the yesterday's match. We cant predict things in cricket.
I have full faith in our team. They need our backing when they arent doing good. We will be again in top form as soon as we get our key players back.
Cheers,
Tutul

Hello tutul,
I admir your optimism but the truth is truth. I mean a couple of key players do not help winning match. What we needed to do was to keep stand by the like of Shehwag, yuvi and zahir. And you too are aware that they are not there for a long time and in between they to go out of form.
The new player what you have put is Virat Kohli and all others are the known faces. Virat Kohli is not responsible for losing the game. what about RP and Yusuf? Did they play up to their potential.
We need excuses. But hope India bounce back.

Hey common now, we lost only one match. It can happen. Look at South africa, they are the number 1 team and they are out of the tournament. That doesnt make them a bad team. Its just things didnt fall according to the situation.
Dont lose hope so early. This young indian team has plenty of potential and they can do a lot of good. We have master blaster Sachin with us who won us the series against Sri lanka recently. So we just cannot go after our players just after one match. As long as he is in the crease anything is possible.
Iam sure we will bounce back and be a team which will remain no. 1 for a long long time
Cheers,
Tutul

Hi again, Then shall we blame it on the too much cricket has affected the performance of the players? I am still wondering what happened to the trump card Harbhajan and Sharma? They looked as blunt and toothless while bowling to Pak and the Aussies.
Now I am afraid that Pak might take up this match not so seriously and if Australia has to win India is out.
Lets hope for the best.

Hello my friend krajibg Ji,
Well, this should be and can only be well responded by selection team, as tehy found only sick people as the team. There was hardly any one physically fit for such national Job.
May god bless You and have a great time.

In both the matches toss did us in. Had we won the toss, things would have been different, ofcourse in the second match rain did play spoilsport. Well actually that should not be the only reason, we did play little badly.
Now as you say Pakistan should help us out and we must crush West Indies with a good margin. Then we might be singing the song of victory. Keep your fingers crossed. Best of luck.

Hi meapas,
Toss is important but I do not pay much importance to this.Have you seen how miserable the seamers looked nt to mention the poor show of Harbhajan. Are they a nerveless lots ? There is a lack of consistency both in batting and bowling.
Not little badly but I would rather say too poor did they play and except PakistaN beats Aussies ( they would not for they would be happy o see India out of the race)thee is little chance for our heroes.

Indian chance to go to next level is slim.If Australia loses and India wins with big margin India can go.
