Friends ,what are your daily used cooking oil?

Friends,I want to know what are your main cooking oil?My hometown is in North China,oil of groundnuts is our daily used .And now I live in Northeast China,the everyday used cooking oil is soybean oil.

We in India use most of the oils like sunflower,mustard,coconut and palm oil top the list...Olive oil is very expensive here, though we use it while making pasta and tortillas. Most people might not have had mustard oil.It is dark brown in colour and has a peculiar smell..Initially I had problem in getting used to it but now I perfer this oil to others while cooking non veg. This oil is very hot, the boiling temp is very low and also it has many medicinal properties like it cures mild cold, it is used to rub feet when pressure dips.

Now I like mustard very much though I have not taste it before.one way to eat it is to dip Jew's-ear into it,so easy,and delicious.

Hi happy! First of all thank you for the best response remark. What is that ear? I have never heard of it. We use a mustard dip but not of oil but simple mustard pureed with some spices...It goes well with fried non veg snack. Oh people outside india also use mustard oil...I didnt know that..

I won't waste the used oil. I will reuse it for frying the vegetables, chicken, mutton.That day used oil should repeated use till it get green colour. Oxidation process will occur. That is bad to health. Used oil should get over in one or two days itself. Cholesterol less oil is good to health.

hi jaggiking2001,it is said that used oil is harmful,of course,it means used more times.Maybe if used only noce,it does matter,indeed it is a pity if waste.;)

Oh, I'm also from Yangtze River Delta in China. We used salad oil for daily cooking. It can be made by peanut, sunflower seed and so on. I usually use olive oil and sesame oil just for cold vegetable dishes. It is reported that nutrientsubstance in olive oil will be broken down while heating-up. Is it true?

I live in US and I use Olive Oil most of the time to cook with. Once in a while I would use Vegetable Oil.
