Lots of dreams in a week

Have you ever had a whole week worth of dreams that you can remember when you wake up? I usually remember the dreams when I wake up and some of them are pretty cool. Here's one I had the other night: it started out as a race, i was racing some guy in a car and his broke down or something and he had to run 4kms. i got to this really steep hill and my car just managed to get to the top but then i had to run down the other side of the hill. somehow the other guy caught up to me at the checkpoint and we were then trying find the finish. after this checkpoint we were in a school and i was running around to all of these buildings but cant find the end. i walk through a door and i see the guy running past me. next thing i know i see a bomb under the building. i run away and met some guy guy named Steve (a guy from school). he knew the bomb was gonna go off at 12:00 and we were running away but then some teachers made us stay in the classroom and there was some dude giving a presentation.. Steve and I were both staring at the clock ticking... the presentation kept going and Steve was like moving to the corner of the room furthest away from the bomb. At 10 minutes to 12:00 i grabbed the presentation guy and pushed him onto the ground and I shouted "RUN!!!". Steve and I got the hell out of there and the building blew up killing 81 people. Dont know how i knew there were 81 people killed but that that was how it was. The next thing i know there were terrorists that planted the bomb and we were confronted by them. Well, except Steve was gone somewhere. This helicopter comes to save me and lands and transforms with cannons and guns. It blew up a terrorist tank and then extended one of its cannons out like a hose. It pointed it at another tank and threatened to shoot even though it wouldn't have worked. The tank didn't attack me and I got into the helicopter but I was in a cage at the front and then airlifted away. I had another dream about WWII previously before that too but I won't go into details with that here because of the length. And also vaguely another one about boxxy. I had close to a whole week worth of dreams but not quite. How often do you have dreams and are they weird?

Yes, I totally remember having a dream almost every day at the start of a year (I forget which year but probably last year) for about a week or so. Each day, I woke up from a dream that I had about celebrities. I can't remember exactly what happened but I did write them down on a blog that I still keep. I dreamt about celebrities like, Johnny Depp (it was very awkward dream), Orlando Bloom (again, very awkward), Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Kristin Kreuk, and others. I thought it was actually one of funnest weeks for dreams because I actually remembered my dreams for a while. Nowadays, I don't dream as much but when I do, it's still pretty weird but it doesn't involve celebrities.

There's only one dream I had about a celebrity and it was rather brief. Yeah, dreams always seem to be weird.

hello gloamglozer, good discussion, your dream is just like a scene of a film. I learn from somewhere that having nightmare has something to do with your sleeping environment. If you environment is good, then you may have a good dream, if it is bad, you may have nightmare. Remember to open your window and allow fresh air to flush in, and remember clean your house and make it tidy, do not put mirror inside your bedroom, or when you wake up at night and see yourself in the mirrow, it would frighten yourself! Turn off airconditioning or fun before you go to sleep. In a word, creat a good sleeping environment, and you will feel better when you sleep.

I would keep the window open except that it is right up against my bed and leaving it open during the night could give me a cold in the morning because when I sleep I usually roll around and unwrap myself from the blanket. To be honest, I don't really call the dreams I'm been having this week as nightmares, sure I'm being chased but a lot and lots of things keep trying to kill me but I have gotten this e-book somewhere that had 10,000 dream sysbols and "being chased" is an indication that I am not happy with the situation I am at and would like to escape it. This is definitely true for me at the moment. Good suggestion by the way, I should clean up my desk now that you mention it. There's been a lot of dust collecting on it especially from the dusk storm we had recently that hit where we are at.

No, it's fine. That's the whole point of having a discussion right? To keep talking about the topic. I did shut the windows and doors when the dust storm hit but some still got in anyways. I had the air conditioner running in the house while all the doors and windows were shut. I should indeed set about in fixing my life situation right now. I can't seem to be meeting my goals that I have set and at the end of the day I feel bad and upset with myself for letting myself down. How do you go about it achieving your goals? Do you go little by little each day or work at it in one go and try to get it out of the way?

haha, thanks for response, yeah everybody says that all dreams has its reasons, I believe so, and mybe you were right about the explanation of what happened your dream. Maybe you should find the the rout of your unhappiness, and solve it. I am sorry that your place suffer from dust storm, when such storm comes, better shut off windows and doors, to make sure your room won't receive too much dust. But make sure you have enough air to breath. I say too much, you will do that even though I don't make advise, haha.

A dream is only remembered when you are sudden;y woken from REM sleep. That is why nightmares are remembered because you wake up from the fright of them. I have had a week of dreams, more specifically nightmares. Something traumatizing happened and I couldn't not dream about it for a while and as I said earlier, I would wake directly from REM sleep and remember my dreams. That was a few freaky weeks.

Wow, you should write these into a series of short stories, you have a lot of fascinating dreams!! Or a blog, that would be cool too. Your subconcious must be an interesting place to live...

I definitely do like having dreams and most of the time it is weird, just the way I like it . As for writing these stories out into a short story I don't know if I want to do that since I would have to add things to them as they are relatively short, even the one that I posted above. Not only that, I would also have to make it so that it makes more sense. My dreams would "jump" from one thing to another sometimes.

That's true, but they're a heck of an interesting jumping off place. Of course, you could write out the dreams just as they are and weave a story around them...

That sounds like a good idea, by just using the dream as a model or basing the story around it would be the way to go I would think. I had an idea of writing a zombie story but I never really go into the groove of writing it.

yeah, I experienced that too. I had dreams for the whole week. I remembered all of them. The wierd part is, I keep on dreaming the same characters and the same things happen but in different settings. I finally realized that those dreams were my anxieties because during that time, we were supposed to transfer to another place.

Ahh, I see, sometimes dreams do have a weird way of telling us things or give us a reflection of things that are happening in our lives. I even had dreams that have come true as well. For the ones that come true I would sometimes try to change it or make it not happen but somehow it ends up the way it is in the dream. It feels weird when something happens and it feels like deja vu too! There are some dreams I had that I say to myself "pfft, that will never happen" and I would forget about until the event happens and I remember the dream again.
