facebook or myspace? i have had more luck with people finding me on myspace but not much (unless its other mylot friends) on facebook but i havent been active on there a long time..
so if you have both myspace and facebook which have you had more friends find you through? do you think that maybe one site is easier to use to search people?

Well if you ask me, i only join two social network, one is facebook, and the other is not myspace, but friendster. So if the question is about myspace of facebook, my answerr is facebook. But i actually met many of my long lost forgotten friend from friendster, maybe because it is the first social networking site that i join. But now, i almost never open that site anymore. Now im only focus in facebook. Well, if i then join myspace, maybe i almost never any long lost friend because most of the so called long lost friend is actually i already met in friendster and facebook.

Yes, it is strange right. How more and more people from other social networking, migrating to facebook. Now, almost all my friend in friendster is an active member in facebook. Friendster now seem panicking and make many improvement themself, but i think it is too late because most of their member now is not active anymore.

I think myspace is easier to search people because you can narrow it down by age and other specifics. I think I've probably found about the same number of old friends or family on both sites. Some I have found have accounts on both sites too. I'm glad I was able to connect with some of my lost family members.

that is true.. you can narrow it down.. but it seems like when i search for people on myspace by name i get other crap or people that have it as their like title but not their real name which made searching really hard for a person that had the last name of a vegetable!

My favorite site for finding long lost friends is facebook. People you haven't heard from in 20 years are suddenly back in your life in some way. They have kids, families, and the whole nine yards. Occasionally, I get surprised. My friend Belinda moved to the Czech Republic. I still don't know how that went down because we're never online at the same time, but at least I know she's alright. Facebook connected me with my college roommate and my college best friend. I also use it as an organizing tool and leave links to my poetry up for people to see. Facebook has been a boon to my life even if I do spend too much time on it.

hi. i don't have myspace account so i can't tell about this site. but i have facebook and friendster. i am a member of friendster for years now but it's just about 5 months with facebook. i know i have found long lost friends with friendster, maybe because of my long stay there and it's more popular in asia. facebook seems to be becoming more popular these days in our country. and i also found some of my long lost friends in this site. with facebook and friendster, i've got more long lost friends. but i think it's much faster to look or search for friends with facebook.

Facebook most definitely...everyone has found me on facebook and only a couple on myspace. I have people from high school adding me that i have no idea why they would other than the fact we went to the same high school.

I think that you can find lots of your old friends on facebook easier than myspace as there seem to be alot more people on there.I do think that face book is alot easier to use than alot of sites as you can also play games and arrange to meet up on there alot easier as well.

I have met more of my offline friends, old and new, in and out of contact off line, on Facebook than I have on MySpace. For whatever reason, MySpace never really caught on with myself, or my friends, or my family. We are all together over on Facebook, and we all seem to really like it over there.

I have both facebook and myspace. I like them both, but facebook gets more action. I have found lots more old school friends and family members on facebook. However; I do have lots of issues with fb and the way it freezes up or runs too slow sometimes.

Hmm... al my friends are active in both myspace and facebook.
Either side will also have enough activities to keep me busy all day!
But I do not check my myspace and facebook account all the time. So, I guess, the accumulative activities on each account is the reason.
Both are okay to use once you are used to it. And pretty easy to navigate around as well. So no problems about one site being easier to use compared to another.

me to. myspace has been more luck for me. a man found me on there that i went to high school with 45 yrs ago a loooong time huh? he sent me a yearbook pic through email i had never even seen. i have a face book account but i really cant manage it well i cant seem to learn how it works. myspace is so easy compared.im the piratevamp on there, also i have a bunnybon7 page there to and my little dog coco has a coconutgirl7 account! lol. but i dont hardly ever go there any more except to the pirate vamp one to feed my super pet.

I am able to find back more of my old friends from Facebook as compared to Myspace, especially an old classmate of mine uploaded a group photo of the whole class recently, and suddenly i met back with a lot of old friends. I really like Facebook very much.

I have a Facebook, Bebo, Friendster, Livejournal, Myspace, Yuwie, MyLot, and MyYearbook.
Obviously I am not active on all those sites as I have other things that need to be taken care of throughout the course of the day and cannot get to all of them.
I seem to find more of my friends & family on MYSPACE but more of my FACEBOOK and MYYEARBOOK friends & Family seem to keep in touch and actually frequent those 2 sites much more often than my friends and family on Myspace.
On Bebo, Friendster, and Livejournal, my friends and family seem to have abandoned the site entirely.
On MyLot and Yuwie, the only reason people seem to add me or keep in touch with me, and honestly *I* with *Them* is to make money.

That is LAME about Yuwie. I really liked a lot of people I met on there. Interestingly enough, most of the people who CONTINUED to speak with me after I left Yuwie the FIRST time, are the ones that are ALSO on MyLot. LOL!
I actually got my feelings hurt pretty badly by one gal I got along with great on Yuwie. She stopped talking to me after I left.
Remember Kelly from NY? The girl who always had pink or black hair and beautiful green eyes? I really liked her and kinda had a crush on her. We flirted a lot and then when I left Yuwie, she wouldn't ever talk to me on Myspace like she would before I left Yuwie. UGH!
