Today donation for the victims of calamities are observe and most of the donors choose to give or deposit it thru bank or other organization like media companies and non government sectors to hide thier identities and also if it is too far to reach, what would you prepare in terms of donation cash or stuff?

Since I'm currently strapped for cash, I only use old stuff as a donation. I can only do that much for now. I just hope and pray that there would be fewer calamities this year. Typhoon Ondoy was the worst we had last year in Manila. For the first time, flood water had enter our home and it was knee deep high. Most of our things were damage. Luckily, all my loved ones were safe and sound.

That's good, the important is your household are safe, for me its much better to give stuff rather than cash because it surely give to the concern, anyway, the important is: WE SHARE, thanks for your comments, God bless you.

Ideally cash is better because victims know what they need and they can simply buy them. If there is a non-government organization who is heading the project, then I suggest it's better to give in kind just to avoid possible cases of corruption.

Hello my friend shellback Ji,
Well, if it is going through many hands, I would prefer to remain with cash, but if it is direct help, then I would prefer to help in kind, depend what one needs and what i could give. But cash may help better. But i doubt, if total cash reaches to people need. At least some % is wasted in wasted interest. be careful.
May god bless You and have a great time.

Hello my friend shellback Ji,
Donors 's aim should be that help extended should reach to concerned in maximum, and not that everything is taken by middle persons and spend on collection.
May God bless you and have great time.

Thats good, its better to give it directly, I think miidleman helps in that kind of situation but not all. We can choose who is the most trusted, you know that corruption are everywhere waiting for thier big catch, so we have to carefull in preparing our donations. thanks.

We will donating old clothes, instant food and hopefully we can donate one sack of rice. My sister and some relatives are also victims but they are all okay and pretty sure they can cope up. We will give much more attention to those who are homeless and to those who cannot build their house in instant.

Thank you. When I saw their situation on national television i feel pain and my heart crashed into pieces. I hope all of them are rescued and in the hands of their love ones. I also hope that those who are secured now will also help because we only over come these trials if we help hand in hand. Lastly, we need to pray for their recovery.

i have some old clothes here, that of my late husband's. i am looking for a reliable donation center to give these clothes out. we are in the central visayas, i just hope they reach in time for the people who have been victimized. it is really heart-breaking to watch the news on tv. i just can't imagine the ordeal they are now into. i pray for all of them that God gives them more strength to withstand this catastrophy.

Many NGO's or Government agencies accept donations, also the media companies, they are willing to accept it as part of thier community services, if it is cash try the two big channel today, the GMA & ABSCBN they flash it in the TV daily, you can save thier number and deposit thru bank. Prayer is the best thing to do for them, I agree with that. ask God to give them comfort. thanks, happy mylotting..

Last year our country had been a serious earthquake,I donate both cash and some clothing.Money can help them to buy sth they need mostly,And the clothing can also help them to satisfy essential requirements.
sometimes i wish i can become a volunteer to help the homeless;bring them the hope of life,be optimized about the difficulties and rebuild their home. But I don't have a long vacation to the disaster area.
So If we have some abilities,Just help some miserable people.
